I completely agree with everything you've said, and have to admit this season I have fallen into the trap of judging everything with a narrow view. But I would say, a front 3 of BDCR, Ayew and Vardy probably wasn't that wise vs a Spurs side who play a high line and can't defend. Both Ayew and BDCR showed fight today though, and that's what I've been calling for since Ruud arrived.

I get it, no fan is going to get excited by the thought of BDCR and Ayew being the sides wide players.

But these types of players will do things in training and matches that managers value much more than fans.

Picking a side is about finding the right kind of balance and trade offs.

Sometimes you have to sacrifice the more skillful players for one’s that allow you to keep defensive rigidity and win the ball back.

Can I also say, not particularly match thread relevant - Matt piper back on the radio. :worship:

What a legend and also putting any pressure that he can on the club to make signings.

Get in pipes!

Say it quietly, but didn't Rudkin sign Bobby De Cordova-Reid......

Masterclass :scarf:

The 'Project Reset' guys would be absolutely SEETHING if we beat Everton next week.

People can enjoy the win whilst also knowing that one win doesn’t suddenly mean all the problems go away.

We are all Leicester fans and want the best for the club. Being smug and digging out others reflects poorly on you to be fair.

Yes and no, yes when someone is sticking up for Cooper, no when someone is on the Cooper hate train..

The meltdown on Fighting Cock is beautiful

Actually it's a beautiful zen garden of thoughtful introspection ...

We're still 1/6 to be relegated. As bad as we are, even I think that's harsh. Wolves & Ipswich are absolute balderdash.

One thing I loved to see today was when Vardy was subbed off, he made sure to take time to speak to the ref as he was walking off (No doubt to delay his exit) then as he came off the pitch, he properly rallied Buonanotte and Daka to get out there and perform. That is the kind of Leadership we need every single week, Roy Keane like standards.

He also have the armband to Vesty and gave him.a.kiss

Probably the worst value in football since, well, Oliver Skipp.

Soumare an absolute man mountain, needs to be the first name on the team sheet if we have any hope of staying and with a returning Ndidi will give us some serious potential in midfield.

Some of the negative comments about Soumaré in the match thread before the game just blew my mind. He was excellent again today. People need to understand he's not a CDM, which is why he'll be even more effective if we get Ndidi back alongside him. His ability to drive with the ball and ability to take the ball under pressure and move it on is going to be crucial for us moving forward.
