It’s a side of the game that generally I want to see firmly clamped down on. But, the rules are what they are and we owe it to no one to play nice and go down in an orderly fashion. If we’d been better at that in the past we’d never be in this mess.

Me too but until it is we need to give as good as we get. This squad isn't blessed with bundles of quality so we need to bridge the gap somehow and we did that extremely well today

Bang on.  Disgraceful.  But until the Prem do something about it, play the fvcking game.  100% Ruud instruction, so if nothing else Kudos for that.

Just wish we’d try and keep a bit more possession. Passing got really ropey in that last half hour, just as we needed to calm things down. A better side would have seized on some of the openings we offered.

I hate the dark arts but until the laws are changed to stop it we have to exploit it like all other teams. Tottenham did the old head injury thing in the first half after they scored and we had some momentum. Funny how they didn't have any when they chased an equaliser.

I don't have a problem with it generally. You are in this game to win. If you are losing at home to a team second bottom on a run of defeats, you can't really complain.

Stolarczyk taking an age to take kicks and then that ankle injury that he seemed to recover very quickly from.

Ayew with multiple injury stoppages, after almost every aerial challenge (he was getting a bit of arm and elbow to the head, to be fair)

Justin going down twice, not quite long enough to bring on treatment, before he went off.

Bobby DCR with an extended arguing of the toss after a free kick awarded against us, and getting a yellow.

Winks' quite decent rugby tackle on Gray.

Vardy taking an age to go off the pitch.

I'm not counting the Daka stoppage in added on time, because he was absolutely  clattered.

Any more?

He must have said something at HT, second half we was a completely different team, unless the early goal gave them a boost.

I thought it was the same old first half, second was a different story everyone was class.

About time we started taking advantage of this, everybody else has been doing it for years and has always been a weakness of ours.

For me this no doubt has come from RVN, he very much had that shithousery about his own game and the Dutch have always had that about them

Long may it continue until it’s clamped down on for all

Our game management for a long time has been pathetic. I loved every minute of it today, was actually a surprise to see us do it so well for a change.

Everton did the same thing yesterday, it's the fine margins like that which has helped keep them in the PL.

The purist in me says it's a sad state of affairs that teams have to resort to this in order to survive.

But that's the modern game I suppose...

I mean Rudd should have learned from the master of Shithousery in SAF.

For too long we have had a soft underbelly, so it's definitely something we need to do more. Workrate and clever shithousery can help level up games. Granted this was against one of the softest teams around.

Think you are all getting carried away.

We have been doing this for the previous 7 games 🤣🤣

It's just nice to do it when winning 😝😝

I did fear when Coady came on we were going to have some Palace away esque escapades on our hands.

Seemingly it sounded from the radio like we professionally managed the last 10 minutes of the game.

Fantastic stuff, but it's now time to build on this. So many times we've seen it. A good result then turgid again. (West Ham at Home for example)

Was fantastic. That's definitely a green mark against Van Nistelrooy's name. I know it's not for everyone but I love the dark arts to an almost unhealthy amount - that's probably because we've been as bad as basically anybody at them for a while. This was great.

Think the 4/1 in play on Stolarczyk to be booked felt like the easiest money I've ever won as well.

If a DVD is ever released I might just have to drop the money.
