  1. 1. Should Ruud be sacked?

If he resigned tomorrow or Monday and really humiliated those above him then I'd have a lot of time for him. But there'll be something contractual stopping him doing this.

Yea, honestly the best thing he could do is resign and really make a scene. Make it clear to the entire footballing world that Aiyawatt and Rudkin are con men, make our club so unappealling that those twats have no choice but to leave. Only way he's coming out of this with something of a reputation intact and the only way we'll ever seen any standards applied at this club.

I am absolutely bewildered that we've not tried a back 5 this season. Even if it's not the long term answer - it cannot be worse than this.

I've thought that too.

I've also thought we should be playing 5 across the midfield. You could see it today, we suffer against players like Doucoure who just boss the game. The decision to play Ayew and BDCR was criminal.

He’s not to blame for the state of the team however I think he is now part of the problem

1/ Keeps selecting these gutless centre backs with zero aggression or appetite

2/ at half time today he thought throwing the same 11 gimps out there would be a good idea.

I think if he goes you have to try and get Dyche if you want yo stay up. If we are resigned to going down I'd keep Ruud, I think given time and preseason he can do something, he's been on a hiding to nothing since day 1. We should never have appointed Cooper, or at least stuck with him longer.

Dyche might be able to shove a rocket up some arses and scrape a few 0-0 and shithouse wins. Some of the entitled cry babies wouldn't like it. The football would be rancid, but then it's not exactly sexy now is it?!

Mark Robbins for next season.

He's at Stoke

We need to think long and hard if Rudd is the man for the championship. There is very little reason to persevere if we are going to let him go at the end of the season anyway.

But if that’s the case then whoever comes in does need a free pass from the club. It’s a fine balance because momentum can be hard to change.

The obvious choice that might keep us up is Dyche but would he really be the right choice for the championship. It’s debatable, he’s obviously been promoted before but is his style now outdated for that?  if the window is shut I’m not convinced Dyche could work with what we have anyway. He’s already binned off coady once

He's not awful and with a better squad we'd be mediocre. But he's clearly not connecting with the players or the fans. All respect because he isn't a Brendan, and he largely stands up to what comes his way, but something is now feeling off. Our squad is terrible, but not as bad as it looked today.

Got a glimse of it against Spurs I guess when he tried to shore up the game at the end (and was successful). So yes baffling! The only way forward for us imo. We don't have quality CBs to play a pairing

Who would come here? Any person with more than two brain cells would look at our history and lies to our managers and swerve us. Maresca was a gamble turned good. But it's obvious to see we've gone from attracting qualified managers to risks. I was pro Ruud, I'll admit.

Luton got promoted by playing a scrappy style of football. Sheffield United and Sunderland are having success this season without playing possession heavy football.

If we went for a Dyche type, then this squad would need a sizeable overhaul.

Board seem too keen on a possession style, if we make a change the next step just reeks of the guy in my display pic or someone similar.

Rather go down a more hardened style tbh, we’re too soft, we need to be horrible to play against. Give me a high intensity pressing team over a possession based one any day.

We are shit.  Not all his fault but at the same time I feel like he just isn't the one (like cooper).

I blame our directors and owners for this mess. Out to fukin lunch they are.

I certainly wouldn’t be against him. But it would be just our luck that his methods stop working when he arrives here.

In many ways It would be like bringing Nige back, he’d slowly remove all the over paid prima Donna’s and get some proper defenders in.

with a talented scouting team, it’s honestly always been the way to go for a club like ours.  Get people in who get the defence right, sign the right personality’s and sprinkle some flair and if you get the right parts you can fly.  That’s exactly what’s working for forest right now.

If we had an old school Dyche back four with Ben mee and tarkowski type centre halves… nothing glamorous but solid. And mix that solid with players like fatawu and el khanous and it can be something great.

its hard to make any progress when the fundamentals of defending are just completely missing. In many ways  cooper wanted to be like Dyche.. he just was completely out of his depth and didn’t know how to do it.

I’d rather be relegated and see the club sold

than watch the turged stinking football Dyche serves up

I personally think it's harsh to judge him.

He's working with a pile of inherited shit lazy useless cvnts that most of would struggle in div 1.

I'm not saying he is right for us but judging him on this is not good. Who's coming in to Polish this turd and keep us up?

I really hope he walks of his own decision, no mutual consent or non disclosure agreement and absolutely lays into everything rotten at the club.

A board so far out of their depth that even after the humiliation of a previous relegation, are hell bent on a football philosophy that is no longer sustainable given our squad and finances.  A board who are lazy and stale in their recruitment, lack any long term planning or continuity, everything is reactive.

A DoF incapable of operating at elite football level, continually overpaying for transfer fees and wages to over compensate on his shortcomings and don’t get me started on his inability to move unwanted players on, very rare we move on a squad player without years of loans and them running down a contract.

A group of players that have been recruited with no long term strategic planning, don’t like being over coached, can’t stand being given too much freedom and cry like babies when a manager comes in and tries to raise standards. Bunch of overpaid, pampered ego’s who are here for a big payday and barely break a sweat for the club or badge.

Go on Ruud blow the lot out the water, it’s toxic and the mentality is weak. Too easy to cry and snivel to the owner who facilitates it, next time Top tell them to feck off and take a good long hard look in the mirror.

Hate the state of this club at the moment, horrible from top to bottom.

I expected relegation this season my hope was not to get battered regularly. I did not like cooper and I hoped for RVN. The fact is that I was wrong we were better under cooper. Who knows the truth but it is clear that RVN has marginalized better performing players such as Buanonotto and Okoli. I dislike Choudray but given performances he should have been given a chance given the lack of workrate and tenacity of winks, skipp and Soumare. I see no tactical or coaching capability from RVN. I see no drive from RVN. Him managing in the championship would be a joke.

Can see us ending up with a Smith type appointment soon. Obvious one is Gary O'Neil.

Maybe, but it won't look good on Rudkin or Top if we sack 2 managers in a season without investing in the squad.

I can't see it happening to be honest because it will be them admitting their mistakes and incompetence.
