Not trying to be a dick but have you watched any of his games at Cardiff?

I watched him play his last 3 games, and I thought he did ok at times, but i dont seem to have the blue tinted Alves specs, alot of peeps have.

I can't see any team buying Bilal for the price we would want - his attacking output does not justify this. We have got lucky with Fatawu's injury as he will likely be here next season.

                           Daka/Evans

Alves/Mavididi, Bilal/Page, Fatawu/McAteer

I'd like a proven striker at that level and I fully expect Monga to leave in the summer.

Highly unlikely Bilal goes.

Hopefully not. I think the talent is there to be a strong premier league player, even if not elite. But he has been held back somewhat by our woeful team. I mean if teams circle to pick the best of the bad bunch from the likes of us and Southampton, of course he will stand out. But hopefully the finances involved will see that he stays on next season.

Fair enough was genuinely just curious. He was looking better each game then got injured and struggled when he came back but yesterday was an impressive showing off the bench.

The Cardiff lads I work with say he's been OK so far (too many annoying floaty crosses) but he really needs to strengthen up.

Also, and we all know this, he looks like someone who has barely played any competitive football.

If he can stay fit for the rest of the season, get himself back starting for Cardiff and then bulk up in the summer, we should have a decent player on our hands.

Just get the feeling that the Wolves thug who did his ACL, has probably ruined any chance of him ever being better than just decent.

Let's see what the lad can do though and how much he wants it, without putting all our hopes and dreams on him.

As for Nelson I really do think he's the real deal and will be a starter next season.

Well fingers crossed anyway, as if I have to watch that car crash that is Faes beyond this season, I may cry.

Reid was on a free so, that's not a problem. Ayew's book value will be £2.5m, we could loan him for a year and be no worse off.

Can't loan ayew unless we extend his contract no?

Nelson looked fine when he played under Enzo should be a starter for sure next season

I think BCDR will stay.

Ayew goes.

The only market that might touch ayew is Saudi. Potentially he gets something because he has a big following in Ghana.

I just get the feeling he's not going to be up for dropping down to the Championship.

Don’t think he signs a multi year deal with us if that was the case. It’s his retirement package, he’s not got anything left for top level football and will take our cash happily.

Even if that is the opinion of our current coaching staff I wouldn't trust it to be correct anyway. Their actions in the last few months have been nothing short of moronic.

I'm not saying I agree with that thought process as a young lad will improve by playing and making mistakes whereas playing players in there late 20s/ early 30s who have reached their ceiling and are on a decline while maybe currently better than youth won't be forever, it's that sort of short term thinking that's got us in the mess we are in.

I think Ayew will move on, I think we look to recoup his outstanding book value and be happy to get him off the books. Anymore than that will be a huge bonus. I can see him ending up at Sheffield United or in Turkey or Saudi.

BDCR i think will move on as well again on a low fee move to America or Turkey.

As for Bilal whilst his numbers haven’t been particularly eye catching, his overall play has been decent and I think there will be clubs like Brighton, Brentford, Bournemouth etc who may well see value in bringing him in but think it will be for a fee of probably £25m + add ons. I don’t see him wanting to play in the championship.

Think there’s just too much at stake right now to just ‘ try it and see’

lol

I know it's worth 2m but 20th or 19th...who really cares?

Any idea why he’s withdrawn from international duty?

There's only ever one likely reason for that
