This is delusional. If we’re a ‘better all round side’ then we’ll win games like they’re winning them. Until then and whilst we’re below them in the league, they’re better than us. Maybe they had an off day against us.

My point is, the manager isn’t getting out of the squad what he should. I can’t see any world in which this squad isn’t better than 4 draws in a row.

That’s my point. 

Our squad is vastly overrated and we continually blame manager after manager for not getting a tune out of them.

 

The facts are, we have 3 or 4 really decent players for this level that unfortunately are surrounded by shit who can’t be arsed or just aren’t up to the job. And you will only ever be as good as your limiting factor.  This is a recruitment issue which stretches back 4 years or so.

 

The bottom line is, we aren’t good enough. And we are only still in the playoff places because everyone is bad as well.

So what you’re saying is managers need time to build a team and get them settled playing with each other etc and we shouldn’t be judging marti so early on his Leicester career?

Prestons LB Thierry Small has scored against Charlton. He also got called up to the England u21s, hopefully we’re scouting him because he looks like a future PL player.

A slow start can impact any team long term. The ball no longer flows. Every mistake feels like it’s punished. Slowly players go into a shell and stop playing their game.

It's mad how many of the supposedly better sides have been this bad as well. Not remotely convinced by us, but we've been better than most of those.
