I find it rather sad that my high points of the season so far (for me) are forest conceding an own goal after missing a pen in the Europa league, and a West Brom equaliser against Derby. Sort it out Leicester City.

Derby and stoke etc.. having their best seasons for years we are having the worse relative to the league we are in and only 5 points in front of of us, maybe 2 if we win tomorrow.

Its so true. Our players aren't the best but they are better than 90% of the muck in this league. If we had a manager and a striker, we'd easily be top 6.

Ade Akinbiyi would be far more effective than Daka and Ayew at this level

I do think he deserves a bit more than being branded "Someone from the MLS". He's had successful coach stints at Chelsea and Man Utd, highly regarded. If he hadn't been to the MLS it would be the same as when Ipswich hired McKenna.

 

That being said... the tactics are more than a tad alarming! I can't think of any manager whose chosen system is 5-4-1.... and he's chucking players in there Amorim style, WBA two best players were shoved into the wing back positions for the 3rd game in a row. 

 

Safe to say he needed that late goal!
