Got me thinking - when was the last time our Leicester players have fought for us as fans? Definitely not in the last 10 years unless I'm forgetting something. 

 

And when have they been involved in a bust up in against another team? Game against Chelsea when Perez blew our Champions League hopes springs to mind as the last time something of the sort happened. 

tbf i dont know why youd be doing that when Liverpool will win the league etc, its like that bloody meme pick of the person with the medal and champagne celebrating while others above them look down

Interesting question and my observations are that none of the current squad is ‘fighting’ for us. An occasional flash from Vardy. We see Ayew hugging opposition players on the touchline, RVN hugging McGuire at the end of the game. The only thing modern players fight for is their agents milking the game. There is very little association with the club and supporters at the Premier League level. Last night was fun to watch a throwback to the really enjoyable days of football. But they are sadly gone sanitized in a world of corporate good behavior. Sad but true the best days are behind us.

I think that's one of the reasons Walshy is such a legend.

Jones is a wind up merchant himself, either accept its going to happen or don’t do it yourself, maybe if he showed a bit more fight during the game he could have been goading the Everton supporters instead 🤷‍♂️

Every time I come on here I despair at the comments. But then I also realise why the club have been able to get away with what they have for years.

Our team is so soft and passive, it’s embarrassing. 
 

There’s only Vardy who gives a few verbals now and then. 
 

Other than that, there’s no nasty ones or real fighters.

Our players are so passive that its like playing 1 or 2 men down most weeks anyway.

 

If we had a handful of players who got properly stuck in more when they were on the pitch, and maybe picked up a few reds between them as a result, we'd probably be in a better position than we are now. Or at worst we'd be the same but we'd look like we actually cared about our position.
