iancognito Posted 9 March Posted 9 March Not sure what sort of a hybrid this can be described as.... the last time I saw this many spare parts being thrown together to make something else, Frankenstein was an up and coming scientist. 1

fazzyfox Posted 9 March Posted 9 March Can we hide El Khannouss today otherwise the gluttonous b*****ds will try to sign him at half time. And Mads but Chelsea being Chelsea he’s probably already been wined, dined, shown round and welcomed weeks ago (that’s not meant to question his integrity btw), cough, Chilwell. 1

peterborofox Posted 9 March Posted 9 March I don't mind if Daka plays as long as we utilise him properly and he puts the effort in. He's shite in front of goal but he can press. He can run and pull defenders too. This is where we do no other the top balls or anything in behind though. We so struggle to get up the pitch as we have no pace so hopefully him playing solves this a bit
ceebeefox Posted 9 March Posted 9 March Alleluia! A coach who looks for another way! This is the only way so poor are we.
Phil Mitchell Posted 9 March Posted 9 March Skipp not even in the squad.. pound for pound worst signing in our history? 1
Monk Posted 9 March Posted 9 March Daka has been asked to pretend to be Shinji Okazaki for the day by the looks of it.
Legend_in_blue Posted 9 March Posted 9 March (edited) I've read a couple sources online and both having us playing completely different systems with that lineup. What both have in common though, is that they're both a bag of 💩 Edited 9 March by Legend_in_blue
beepee1984 Posted 9 March Posted 9 March So I was dreading looking at the starting line up, thinking here we go again... no matter what players he selects I doubt it will peak any confidence in me Then I see the team and although still no confidence it has peaked my interest - 2 Left Backs, still no Winks or Buonanotte, but 2 strikers and no Ayew or Cordova Reid - so at least be are trying something new... And Ricci back on the bench and no "I'm ok bringing the dog to training" Vestegaard in the squad

Corky Posted 9 March Posted 9 March On the "plus" side, at least we have binned the slow wingers and have some legs going forward. Five defenders and it still highlights how hideous it is in that area.
Richmondfox Posted 9 March Posted 9 March So we have an extra clown at the back to drift out of position and pass backwards poorly and another donkey up front to point and not press. Soumare in midfield is a waste as once Chelsea realise we won’t beat their trap due to having no press (apart from Bilal), their cbs will just walk by as Soumare keeps his heart rate low. I’m sure they will find a way to drift out of position leaving the wings exposed as usual. Let’s see it VK/Thomas & JJ will get by the halfway line before they stop and pass backwards.
funkyrobot Posted 9 March Posted 9 March Very confused with the positive comments on here about today’s set up. We have ONE creative player in the first 11.Two out and out finishers who don’t create and who need service and then 7 other outfield players who are in there as stoppers. Chelsea simply need to take ELK out of the game and then we’ll have to resort to trying to sling it long over the top in the brief moments we have possession. 1

OntarioFox Posted 9 March Posted 9 March If two up top works, it's absolutely vital we make a space for either Evans or (god forbid) Edouard on the bench, so we aren't forced into a formation change when in the ascendancy. We can't do it without any backup in the position. It's all relative mind you - this is LCFC in 2025, it's not going to work.
