Unless there’s a new image I’ve not seen then, as when it was first released it was just half.

But if so, fantastic from the club to give the away end more freedom to stand and let the away fans generate a bit more atmosphere than our own.

If Leicester City were likened to a Cheltenham festival then boy they’re Cheltenham ‘25 lol

You could very well be right they've been a couple of images posted so no idea which ones are right in fairness.

Is there an easy way to transfer digital tickets between phones?

Screenshot. turn NFC off screenshot to include your QR code. Scan to go in as normal

Paying premier league prices to watch Leicester City scramble for survival in the championship with a decimated squad and a total lack of ambition. Cherish the thought. Never been so uninterested in renewing. Scumbags

Up until next season, I’ll have had a card. But thanks for letting me know how it works.

Some people like tickets stubs etc as a momento and what right do the club have to take that away from people?

Another problem for me is not so much the system, more so the people that don’t know how to use it. Causing more queuing time. When I’m at the turnstiles I just want to get in rather than be standing around because the clown at the front of the queue hasn’t downloaded their ticket.

I’ve used NFC most of this season as I’ve relocated most games. But look at the QPR game purely as an example. Bar Tranmere, the lowest attendance at home this season and the queues were bigger than any other game this season - coincidentally all mobile tickets.

Then we get to the problem of what if the system fails due to one reason or another?

I’m also not keen on selling tickets back to the club, would much rather hand it over to someone for free who might not be able to regularly go or something like that, and with digital it’s not going to be easy to do that, so if I can’t go for whatever reason, the seat will just end up empty.

Maybe if you sold your ticket back and that seat went up for sale at the price that the season ticket holder was refunded at, I’d be more willing to do that.

Not done it myself but understand it is pretty simple to transfer a ticket to a mate, just log onto your account and allocate the ticket to someone in your friends/family list. Easier than having to get your card to a mate, whilst your lying in bed with man flu. At the moment you can also send a screen shot of the Q code, though expect that loop hole to be closed up as other clubs have already done so.

That is the unofficial way and I would expect that to be closed off in the not too distant future. You can though log onto your account and allocate to anyone in your friends/family list.

Any idea what the process is if you're in a safe standing area but want to move to another safe standing area?

It's all in the email the club has sent to all ST holders.

Does this work in a different phone?

Our club is such a joke. They need the fans more than ever at the min and do something like this. Absolute amateurs.

They pulled a lot of this sort of shit the last time we got relegated too. Started with that ridiculous ID checking at away games - like they weren't enough of a faff for people with the shit being served up.

The green dotted areas, SK1,2,3,4, G1, P, P1,L1,K1

What an absolute mess that it. Why not just do it properly and convert one large area, surely that's common sense.

Anyone at the back of J3 won't be able to see the goal to their right, similarly people seated in G1 will have their view blocked of the goal at their end, and those seated in P1 next to the standing area won't see much to the left of the 6 yard box.

I understand not converting the whole Kop end, as the people in there are mainly the same people that have been there for 20 years with an average age that must be 50+ and are not the type of people that want it.

As I've said before though, the other end is ideal. A1 round to M3, start with the back half with the intention of eventually all rows.  It's a younger demographic there as those in P/P1 are generally those that reached the age limit for the family stand, and those in the family stand know that they have to move when they reach the limit (16?) and so they already know they won't be in those seats long term, so would be less resistance to moving, and as a whole the stand would be more receptive.

The family stand can move elsewhere, and it would mean the singers could congregate in one place and be heard by the away fans (unlike now) which would get a bit of atmosphere back again.

How many times a season can you allocate the tickets tho?

5,  but I guess you knew that.

My major issue with digital tickets is that they’re actually useless!!! They never work and just cause long queues for everybody at turnstiles.

I paid £25 for my physical card last year and I remember seeing about 90% of other season ticket holders have also so I highly doubt there has been any positive feedback on the process and if so, it’s been based on a small minority. If it was actually based on feedback then they should poll all ST holders and transparently show these results.

In addition, if they were to run a ballot for the 30% who are lucky to hold a physical ticket (given the club are disillusioned enough to think we will be in the league that are so intent on enforcing it) then I’m sure this would be *shockingly* oversubscribed.

It's rubbish to say they never work. If you're a season ticket holder you should know exactly how they work as you've done it a gazillion times, week in week out.

Once a season ticket is in the wallet, at least in Android, you don't need to do anything else. Just check before the games that the latest is showing. That's it.

I've done it for 2 years now and only once had an issue, where it had disappeared from my wallet which was a tech issue (yes it can happen, but rarely).

At the end of the day it's literally as simple as tapping a physical card every game, as long as you have a phone from the last decade, which I appreciate not every does. So as long as they make exceptions, this digital stuff is not an issue, stop being such dinosaurs (I'm 53 btw).

Also I'm far less likely to lose it then a physical one, which is a bonus.

I've had a season ticket since the ground opened in 2002 but sadly I don't think I will be renewing it for next season.

It's a tough choice because I know there may not be a chance to get another season ticket again in the future.

So I’ve gone 50:50 with my brother for about 10 years with a physical card, so what do we do next season? One of us goes to the majority of the games and the other 5? Seriously

Season tickets auto update in your wallet a few hours after the last game ends. Had digital for a long time never had an issue. All my tickets from other clubs appear the same way don’t remember the last time I had a paper ticket. My train tickets, airline tickets, boarding passes and hotel key locks all appear the same way. Don’t understand the resistance and I am old.

My mate is the same, shares a ticket as they both live away.

Where is this wallet? Do you log into your LCFC account or the app and the ticket appears? If that's the process, sharing log in details, shares the tickets?

Unfortunately if you're running a business and demand exceeds supply regardless of the quality of your product then there is little incentive to improve the product.  Large numbers not renewing and few applications to replace them may galvanise much needed actions.

Depends how shit we are. Can't get people to take my ticket in the PL nevermind against Wycombe

I was initially a bit disappointed with the home standing capacity but it was said in the meeting with UFS that if the demand is there then expansion across the Kop is on the table. So if you're disappointed as well you simply have to try and move in, get all your mates to do the same and show them people want it.

That's what happened at Man Utd and the guy that oversaw it there is now at LCFC.

Fact they are advertising this early is interesting they don’t usually do it till after the season ends

Do they need the cash upfront?

The amount of money season tickets bring in will be minor compared to everything else

You are wrong kid, they do work and I’ll tell you this, your card has the same chip in it as the chip in the top of smart phones to enable NFC ticketing to work.

As long as you downloaded the email at the start of the season it automatically updates in your wallet.

Another miff someone else said on here if the system goes down you’re stuck, if the system goes down card holders will not get in either as see my first paragraph it’s the same technology just one is in a piece of plastic, the other is in a phone.

You don’t need any signal at the ground, the problem is idiots turn up without first installing it and wonder why they cannot get in as no phone signal. Get it in your wallet beforehand and that’s it, after every game it will update for the next one.

Add in all you need to do is point the top edge of your phone at the ))) sign and it opens,  some try putting it under the QR reader or push it face on to the ))), yes go under the QR reader if using the extra QR code on it but you shouldn’t need to, that’s just a back up option.

But you have to ask why it’s mandatory if we won’t be in the league as it’s looking like?

Last few mobile tickets I've used for other events, the QR code refreshes every 30 seconds so a screenshot even 1 minute old wouldn't be valid. Imagine the same will happen with this eventually if it hasn't already.

You are correct and that will be the next step. Some clubs already have this enabled and it stops a thing other than instant sharing as the code is invalid. Many other events use this the O2 has moved to this for events.
