Trust Welcomes Season Ticket Price Freeze but Urges Consultation with Supporters on Match Day Pricing

The Trust welcomes today’s news that the Club has, in line with the request made by us in an Open Letter on February 27th, frozen season ticket prices for next season.

In a time where many clubs have continued to hike prices for loyal fans, freezing prices for Leicester City fans is a welcome step. Whilst the division our football club is to play in next season is yet to be confirmed, freezing prices ensures that fans either continue to see either Premier League football at the same prices as this season or an additional 4 fixtures should relegation to The Championship be our fate.

Match day pricing for next season has yet to be announced by the Club and we hope the club will heed the advice in our Open Letter to consult fan groups before determining this. To be clear: we are calling for freezes in match day ticket prices as a bare minimum should the club remain in the Premier League, and reductions should the club find itself in The Championship for next season.

Prices for individual tickets are already drastically out of proportion to per-game season ticket costs, and many of our supporters cannot commit to a season ticket or obtain one due to limited supply. These supporters should not be punished with extortionate pricing for the games that they are able to attend.

Sensible pricing is the gateway to new and younger supporters becoming the future regulars at the KP and will also help to boost attendance at some of the less popular fixtures. Leicester City has the chance to show supporters how much it appreciates them with match day pricing for the 2025/26 season, we call on them to do the right thing.

The open letter dated Feb 27 was probably at least 2 months after the club decided their pricing strategy for next season. But that’s only based on my experience, could be wrong…

Should be a reduction never mind a price freeze. The club hasn’t even tried to stay in the prem this season. Change needed.

Beat me to it. Their argument will be 4 extra fixtures though. That will satisfy the sleep walkers with their cool bag and picnic on match days.

I’d love to know what the numbers are with regard to general sale non members purchases, the matchday prices are beyond disgraceful.
Pretty sure it’ll still be somewhere between £38 and £45 on average next season to watch even more rubbish.

Surprised the open letter didn’t tell everyone how much you loved Whelan, the failing CEOs passion and as a board you are all desperate to have sex with her. Disappointing. ****ing useless idiots.

As if it’s a ****ing reward. Honestly, the board should list their real life experience on this forum. Guaranteed 90% have achieved nothing of note - if you’re part of this voice piece for the failing club, leave and let it die.
