I personally would go with Carlos Cuesta at Arsenal he’s very highly rated In the game as a coach. I would also go with Carlos Cuesta, the policy of hiring the assistant of successful premier manager worked before with Enzo 1
cityfanlee23 Posted 9 April 2025 Posted 9 April 2025 There are a few rumours online that Spurs have made contact with Glasner, I doubt Ange would drop down to us, but we absolutely should be in immediate contact if he does lose the spurs gig. 1

benfica Posted 9 April 2025 Posted 9 April 2025 Chris Davies, Taking Brum back up. Those that don't know him, read his Wikipedia.

Edingleyfox Posted 9 April 2025 Posted 9 April 2025 I think a number of decent people won't fancy the Leicester job for many reasons whether it be financial or unrealistic expectations. Big name managers from abroad like Ancelotti might sound a little more exciting than some but they won't know just how shambolic the last 9 months has been or be familiar with the players/Championship. Rosenior or Corberan would IMO be good but of course how much more compensation will Leicester be able to afford and would they be interested?

Simply because we pay stupid money 1

VintageFox73 Posted 9 April 2025 Posted 9 April 2025 I think its time for Steve Bracknall ... could we entice him away from Royal Oak FC ? .....

I agree Davies would be a great shout, but I think we've missed the boat with him. There's no way he'll leave a buoyant Brum, in the same Division, with all the money and promise they've got, for us at the moment! 1
Chrysalis Posted 9 April 2025 Posted 9 April 2025 We need a Dyche, but will end up with a Martin. Top loves his tippy tappy slow build up play.

Plenty of coaches favour a strong press and quick transitions, if that's what you mean, and many of them will be significantly more tactically sophisticated than Dyche, whose brand of football has become obsolete. 2

My only issue with Dyche is that he doesn't strike me as having a great track record of bringing through younger players. None immediately spring to mind other than Dwight McNeil. **** what fans on here turn their noses up at. I've seen them turn their noses up at the signings of Schmeichel, Vardy, Mahrez, Huth, Fuchs, Morgan, Albrighton, Ulloa and the appointment of Pearson. 1

There is such a thing as too complex, too sophisticated. We need a back to basics manager. But I welcome you to give me some names for the quick transitional and pressing managers, then I will offer an opinion. Edited 9 April 2025 by Chrysalis
