Mixed emotions about this, obviously the names mentioned show how uninspiring the club is, absolute tinpot. The other side of me finds it strange that multiple journalists have received information at the exact same time, which would lead one to believe information has been leaked.

 

Why? Is the question. I would like to believe it’s to apply pressure to get Rohl in, Sheff Wed need our money, no one else will take Rohl and it’ll end in a mutual agreement of him walking away, they need our money. They could also be buying themselves some time with this news…

 

The reality is we are run by absolute clowns and I’m convincing myself of what I would like to happen and it will be one of the other names.

Maybe they don't feel any urgency because King is doing a good enough job for pre-season

Maybe they think that without a manager to sanction sales we will keep hold of Hermansen and El Khanous.

Maybe they are planning to hire a manager who prefers the same style of play as Maresca and that the players are already comfortable with that.

Pretty convinced this has been deliberately leaked by the club. No coincidence there has been literally nothing from local media for a week and a half and all of a sudden Dorset and Percy are plucking names an hour apart. 

 

Pretty sure Rohl will be the main target and Chansiri is running rings around Rudkin and Top in terms of compensation and legal red tape. So they've fed this line to the journo's to A) Give Chansiri and Rohl the hurry up that they're going to miss out on precious needed money and B) Gauge a reaction from you lot on their other candidates if they have to pivot, and boy are they getting it. I’ll be honest if it isn’t Rohl, of all the other names I would take Wilder, before I get shot down hear me out.

 

First of all, I want none of the shortlist other than Rohl. But moving past him, IF it was to be a dull list, the one requirement for me would be I would want someone who plays attacking football and puts faith in youth players, hence why I’ve been so high on Carsley for a long time now.

 

Of all the options stated the only one I think who can afford to prioritise youth without there careers being shot is Wilder. He fits the bill of attacking football and will give youth a chance.

 

He’s hugely uninspiring, but we’ve all said if we can’t get the man we want then attacking football and giving the academy a chance is the second most important priority. So for me I would want Wilder from that list.

Why doesn't the board just do something sensible for a change and just appoint King we will have enough decent players left even after off loading the quality players to have a decent championship squad and bring in the young players too, King seems to have the right attitude to make it all gel.

after 10 games of him being found out (not on him, just lack of experience) they would be wasting another 3 months trying to decide what next 

remember he was part of the coaching team last season. Was he able to influence the attitude at all?  I doubt it

Man, i remember when we played liverpool in the pre season friendly under enzo and i could see the difference in play, a manager who was excited about the project, the players enjoying themselves to being linked with this fodder.

After everything that kingy has done for us, some of you think that his reward should be to manage this club as his first step in management ????

 

Give the fella a break - he’s just making his way as a coach.  Appointing him as our manager would be too much at this time. Saw some suggestions that we could get someone like Powell in to help him. But he’d still be the top man and the lightning rod. It’s a firm no from me. 
 

if rohl isn’t gettable then O’Neill or dyche will do. I doubt dyche would take what we want to pay.

A bit like Percy recently, he's also been going in on the ownership over the last 12 months or so. 

 

We all know the club don't take criticism from journalists very well, so it wouldn't surprise me if he's been cut off.

I think King would promote the youth players as well, he spoke so highly of them after the game. I doubt he’d start cordova-reid ahead of monga for example

You need to check your grammar when speaking about leicester city ...... the words board and sensible should never be used in the same sentence
