Tielemans63 Posted 8 July 2025 Posted 8 July 2025 Just now, Sol thewall Bamba said: No shorter than Dyche ever was tbf. And people are coming out to say it now isn't him. I think the bookies just aren't that interested in us anymore. Has Dyche been odds on before now? (Genuine question, I don't know the answer)
CosbehFox Posted 8 July 2025 Posted 8 July 2025 People have to remember the bookies follow the money on next manager markets. It’s one of the areas they have no more inside track than average fan and there is no indicators to help them price

I’d have Rohl ahead of him but he’s a much better option than Wilder, O’Neil, Dyche and Carrick. I want us to look abroad but it won’t happen.

Maybe Top and Rudkin have learnt from past mistakes where they went for their third, fourth, fifth choice and are sticking with their preffered candidate. Danny sign contract. Insert clause. He leave = £5m or he leave and no job in Championship for 18 months. Danny know. He in Germany with family. 18

Having worked in the industry, what you've said is absolutely right - up to a point. I did some work as an odds-compiler and odds-on is where it can sometimes get interesting- in my (albeit limited) experience, that's usually the point where someone knows something. Could just be market trend but 1/2 is actively discouraging betting, and looks a a bit like loss reducing....of course I could be talking absolute shite Edited 8 July 2025 by Tielemans63

Lambert09 Posted 8 July 2025 Posted 8 July 2025 Probably some really good money in lay betting the favourite in next manager bets. Rarely right out of the gate. 1

HarryDee8 Posted 8 July 2025 Posted 8 July 2025 Just give the job to Andy king, if we can't get rohl, the rest are average
Popular Post ealingfox Posted 8 July 2025 Popular Post Posted 8 July 2025 Nothing so much as a set piece interview from one of our top brass in ten years yet other clubs' owners are willing to sign up to the forums of different clubs to explain the situation to them. Absolute levels to this game. 1 4

Tielemans63 Posted 8 July 2025 Posted 8 July 2025 I'm still hopeful it'll be Big Dan Rohl and that negotiations are just proving trickier than first thought. 1

If that's the case, and I can't help thinking Röhl coming here is an optimistic prediction, it says a lot about Chansiri. I suspect Danny Röhl's Leicester side having a full preseason under him, and probably some transfer business, absolutely twatting the side he's run into the ground on the first day of the season would make him even more unpopular with the Wednesday fans and ramp up the pressure on him to sell.
