Glasgowfox Posted 8 July 2025 Posted 8 July 2025 Not sure about you guys but getting sick of this. To be honest tho I have got to the stage where I see it as "your only as good as your last job". None of the managers mentioned have a CV of doing consecutive great jobs at clubs otherwise they would be way out of our reach. They are mentioned because they have done at least one good job so who is to say none of them could do another one? I have preferred choices but that does not mean they will definitely do a good job as football does not work like that and certainly not under our group of so called leaders. Whoever is chosen I will get behind them. We all know that the team manager is not the biggest issue at Leicester by a country mile. 2

EastAnglianFox Posted 8 July 2025 Posted 8 July 2025 You lot are quick to part with the money. Cifuentes from nowhere already 17/20 with Sky Bet 1

He was gutted when he fell out with the chairman and was put on gardening leave. Seems like he plays a similar style to Enzo, maybe slightly different

It's like there are two different strategies, I think Top wants us to play possession based Man City-lite football and Rudkin is going for an experienced 'done it before' manager, so we have Rohl and Cifuentes against Dyche, Wilder and O'Neil. Or they don't have a clue and are picking managers at random! Edited 8 July 2025 by Merchant_Banker Typo
Lcfcwigstonblue Posted 8 July 2025 Posted 8 July 2025 Happy with this personally, plays good attacking football but still more direct and quicker than Maresca 1

fox_favourite Posted 8 July 2025 Posted 8 July 2025 This is more Enzo ball style. But it does feel like they are just getting names of a hat then interviewing them

Aleksz Posted 8 July 2025 Posted 8 July 2025 I get the feeling the club are on a bit of a side quest to make Percy look like a bit of a tit when all is said and done

Samilktray Posted 8 July 2025 Posted 8 July 2025 Much rather have a Cifuentes than a Gary O’Neil, much sexier imho
