How could you renew? You were incredibly, vehemently adamant upon our last relegation you were done, making that point extremely clear for weeks and months on here during the season, and after it was confirmed. So as that was 2 years ago, what do you have to renew? Certainly not your season ticket.

I probably will, but it defies logic. I’m keen to keep it going in my family, as my daughter probably won’t want to go much. She will likely be the first in 4-5 generations not to go. But outside of it being a family tradition, I can’t think of any other reason. How sad is that?

I’m gonna give it another season, I’m not expecting us to go straight back up, I just want a team to be proud of again, but if the same dross/atmosphere hangs around again next season. It will be probably be the last one for me for abit.

I apologise for not seeing a single post explaining your change of heart amongst your hundreds of posts belittling fellow fans, calling them all the names under the sun for renewing themselves.

Had my mind made up for me by the scumbags involved in the club months ago for the ban for doing nothing.

I'd regretfully probably do it and it would've been to preserve my points if anything, but it's far closer than the absolute certainty it would've been not long ago.

Now I've been banned though, honestly, I've not missed the home games a jot. I know it's been easy while we've got one of the worst teams in the history of the league, but I feel almost sympathetic for those leaving the pub to go and watch that garbage. I can hand on my heart say if I'd been offered a free ticket for yesterday with no repercussions for going to it, I'd not have gone.

Now that I've lost my priority points (for doing nothing) there's a lot less incentive for me to get one anyway - even if I could.

EDIT: To be honest, no. After what they've done I'm really not sure I can give money to those oxygen thieves.

Another error, whether it’s forced or not is the digital cards. I think this alone will result in up to a 10% reduction in season ticket holders.

Last time we went down the club were lucky to keep their loyal base, but after this season I think it could go down towards the levels of when we were down there just before the recent wonder years.

Taking away the cards and so taking away the customers flexibility will cost them 5/10% of their ticket holders at a time they really should be trying to keep them.

I used to have a spare ticket under my own name to distribute to friends. They stopped allowing me this a good few years ago. I really don’t know why they are following the narrative of knowing exactly who is in the ground all the time.

Agree. Think we had that one year of credit in the bank. I can see our average being about 27,000 next season - and that's despite fiddling the crowds.

Wonder how willing they'll be to ban people for nothing when nobody's bothering.

No. After spending a fair few quid over two years to even get a season ticket, when forced to miss the Arsenal game, I realised I enjoy my weekends more when I don't make a 4 hour round trip wrecking my voice trying to make noise in a silent area of SK1 for a club that treats "legacy fans" with contempt, to have games ruined by VAR, and frankly incompetence from the boardroom to the pitch and everywhere in between.

Top can have his ground full of yes men. He's earned it.

Totally undecided.

The only reason is the social aspect because the mate I sit with is the only time we actually see each other. I can cope with not seeing these mercenaries every other week but we haven't decided whether we just go game by game. The digital aspect is also a huge thing because the tickets are under his name and I don't actually exist as far as the club is concerned.

If they don’t get the mass renewals they’re expecting, this might be the reality check they need.

Although, I’m sure they’ll see this as a bonus and look to sell for over-inflated prices per game in general sale.

Not a chance in hell I would step foot in the ground again until these ***** have sold up if that happened to me.

What reason did they give for banning you?

Not sure Plymouth  at home in a mid championship  clash is gonna  be much of a draw.

I'm not, like a few others I've missed some games recently due to the joy going. I can forgive us being rubbish, but I can't back the club I love in it's current guise.

I will. It's an absolute mess at the moment, I'm hoping it's so bad at the minute that it finally inspires some change, I know that's completely naive but Burnley did it when they had Kompany.

Obviously it didn't work out when they got promoted but at least we won't have a squad full of aging players on ludicrous wages.

It's with a heavy heart that I will not renew.  It costs me at least £300 a game on top of my season ticket so I am probably investing more a season than the net spend on players 😅..joking aside I have followed my club for over 50 years.  I have seen a lot worse players in my time but not sure I have seen such incompetence across the board at management level.  Yes we have had some awful leaders but to me they have been individuals but imo we now have a clan with a top dog having no balls.  God bless Vichai

Yes.

I support the club, which isn't embodied by an owner, manager or the playing squad of the time.

I didn't support us because Mandaric, Shipman or any other person who owned the club.

I didn't support the club because of Little, O'Neill, Pearson, Rodgers et al where manager!

I didn't support the club because of Vardy, Walsh, Izett, Oldfeild et al playing for us.

I support the club, as it my team, where I'm from.

Fully agree with those comments. You’ll probably get called a happy clapper as that’s what the boo boys, who think they are the only ones who support the team properly, like to call other fans who they perceive as not caring. For many of us, it’s just in our blood and not going down and supporting them, is not an option or even a consideration. Wonder how many of those who are advocating not renewing or not doing so themselves, will actually go through with it. Like you say, it’s the team we support and we’ll be there when the owners/managers have gone.
