So, Tops master plan is clearly get back into the Championship, gut the deadwood from the squad and have a massive knees up once we win the Championship again! Got to love going OTT with an open top bus parade supporting failure.

Anyhow, to do this, the squad is going to need some major surgery.

This is how I see it going:

Contract not renewed:

Iversen

Ward

Vardy

End of loan:

Buonanotte

Eduoard

Sold:

El Khannous

Hermansen

Choudhury

Winks

Kristiansen

Faes

Ndidi

Okoli

Loaned out:

Soumare

Leaves us with a squad of:

GK: Stolarkzyk,

DF: Vestergaard, Nelson, Ricardo, Justin, Coulibaly, Souttar, Coady

MF: Reid, Skipp, Alves, McAteer, Fatawu, Mavididi

FW: Daka, Ayew,

So we are going to either need to promote from within, which is what they’ll try and do to save on the PSR, or add in some cheaper alternatives.

Why on earth would you keep BDR, Ayew and Skipp? Get rid immediately.

Problem is we need clubs that are prepared to pay for them. We've had offers for some of them in the past and the players have turned moves down mostly I suspect because of the wages offered (but who is going to go to a job offering less money) or secondly  our DOF won't sell because he wants a higher fee that what they are worth.

Who the **** is going to pay money for them and offer the same wages?

Can genuinely see a Sheffield United going for Ayew…… just sell him for 50p to anyone….

You missed quite a few.

Luke Thomas ?

Then you have ....

Ben Cover

Alves

Wanya.

All coming back from loans you missed

Nathan Opoku will be fit to return.

I don't think a fee or wages is the problem.

More to the point finding someone fvcking daft enough to want them.

One of them keepers will get a new contract. No chance we go into the season with one fit first team keeper.

Ward will be player coach.

I don't want to see Vestergaard or Faes in a Leicester shirt ever again. Think I've been saying that for the last two seasons actually.

I can accept and come to terms with us getting relegated on the basis that there are changes at the top of the club.

Rudkin moves over to the Horse Racing side of the business to make way for a new, modern thinking DOF.

Glover is replaced by a new Head of Recruitment that returns to the model that served us so well previously (young, high ceiling with sell on potential)

I’d get rid of RVN. Not seen anything from him to think he’s the guy to lead a promotion push

we are brutal with the squad, release anyone out of contract and look to loan out or sell big earners.

if none of the above happens then I fear will drop down even further

Agree with the original post with these additions as well, get rid of/sell Vestergaard, Coady, Reid & Ayew and that is a massive chunk gone off our wages bill, recall all our loanees and promote the young uns, would like us to either buy Buonanotte or loan him again, get those 2 big centre half’s from Plymouth on the cheap and I’m sure we have another keeper out on loan somewhere…

Oh and get rid of Rudkin as a matter of urgency please…

Nobody is buying Bilal.

Did you not see all the clubs he was linked with? Think he'll get loaned out personally

Why on earth would we loan him out? There would be zero logic in doing that.

Might be able to shift Ayew to the Turkish or Saudi leagues. Nobody will take Reid, Choudhury or Kristiansen. Might be able to shift Winks due to the English premium.

It was African media hyping up an African player. It means absolutely nothing and happens daily.

2 goals and 1 assist in the league, the numbers just aren't there for a club to pay what we'd need for him.

From a PSR perspective, we'd need somebody to offer £35-40m for Bilal to make it worth our while. Nobody is going to offer that.
