JeffreyDiddum Posted 12 April Posted 12 April Just a heads up, we’ll definitely get the three points if you pick Buonanotte, as it’s against PL rules for a loan player to play against their parent club. 1 3
Noahfence Posted 12 April Posted 12 April I get there’s certain safeguarding issues they have to follow or whatever but Monga probably could start today. There’s zero pressure on these games now, it’s not like we need a win for survival, we’re done. Same for any other academy lads he might pick. It’s probably the best time to actually give them minutes

The bigger issue though is our shape with Kristiansen and Justin. These two must be the most ineffective duo I can remember, they neither attack or defend properly and it's so disheartening to see Justin in some promising positions on the right when he's completely clueless and offers no threat in the final third. To have Thomas and Kristiansen in the same team should be a crime. What the hell Daka was doing against Newcastle I'll never know. Seemed to be playing midfield/right wing. Still having nightmares now thinking of Justin and Daka trying to combine. You could tell this was just ad-hoc tactics the players had employed because RVN had just given up. We need to go back to proper basics. We need proper attacking players concentrating on attacking and Daka, Soumare and Faes should never wear a Leicester shirt again. Ricardo in for Justin. Mads should also be dropped. We need to go back to a back 4. Stolarczyk Coulibaly. Coady. Okoli. Thomas Ricardo Ndidi Monga. Bilal. Evans Vardy Can't edit this as it messes up my formation but yes, as pointed out no FB today so replace him with Ricardo and bring Coulibaly in at RB. Edited 12 April by Collymore

The staff at the club does find new and interesting ways to shoot us in the foot so it wouldn't shock me at all to see it happen 1 1
sm1 Posted 12 April Posted 12 April We're going to lose doing the same things, so Ruud needs to start thinking out the box. Mads JJ Vesty Okoli Woyo Ricky P Ndidi Thomas/VK Mavididi Bilal Vardy Most importantly we need to get the ball forward asap, instead of fuching around making dozens of passes in our own half. 1

Richmondfox Posted 12 April Posted 12 April 3 hours ago, Claudio Fannieri said: This has become one of my biggest issues of recent weeks, I don’t have an issue per se with Wilf as we know what he is about and too be fair he always gives 100% but Soumare is an absolute fraud of a player. Every game he will make 2 or 3 runs where you think wow this guy could be a real player, but for the most of the game he aimlessly ambles round the pitch, often on the wrong side of his man and in possession playing 5/10 yard safe passes either sideways or backwards. I know Winks and Skipp apppear to be on the naughty step but why would you not mix it up and give one of Henry Cartwright or Sammy Braybrooke an opportunity to start alongside Wilf and the other on the bench. I am not saying either are world class but with one eye on next season the development opportunities this presents would be massive. We are going down, so why not use these last 7 games to focus on getting ready for next season. This is down to Ruud’s hubris. For all the behind the scenes issues that Winks and Skipp have had, surely that doesn’t take precedent over the teams performance, future in the premier league and devaluing players and the club. Soumare should never have been brought back into the fold. One run against a 10 man Ipswich. The opener at Everton where he ducked out of the way and moved behind the player should’ve seen him out in the cold. He replaced JJ as being a root cause of goals. I can’t stand watching a player jog by him then he peels away to mark a zone with no one in. When we get the ball to try and play out the back he then stands behind a player offering no chance to receive the ball so it gets passed sideways or Coady tries and plays a long ball out and we get countered like at Newcastle. For all the defence people try to give him, when he acts as a ball carrier he holds onto it way too long then ends up passing sideways or losing the ball. I don’t think any actually have resulted in even a chance at goal. Him and Ndidi will be in the middle and the same will happen. Ndidi will be expected to create and finish while running everywhere and be shattered by 60 mins. Soumare will get 8k steps in at the most, 2 1

Evans Vardy I’m expecting Daka to doing good work, getting in a half decent position then tripping himself up. He’s on for a hat trick of games. You’re right, JJ and VK offer nothing either end, they do both badly. JJ has PTSD when he gets to the halfway line so stops and passes backwards. VK seems to be afraid to cross first time under no pressure, so waits and decides to cross just as he’s about to get tackled. No matter the change of shape, the wing backs always seem to drift into the cb position leaving space for their wingers, then having to react too late. 1

NFPOUT Posted 12 April Posted 12 April (edited) Sourmare is the largest reason for how bad we are, hes trusted in the most important part of the pitch - he shouldn't be trusted with anything, he does nothing. If it wasn't for the existence of Daka he would be the worst ever player in the Premiership. Edited 12 April by NFPOUT 4
