Everton plot summer move for Leicester City defender Victor Kristiansen
Everton were looking at signing a left-back in January, with Moyes far from convinced on Vitaliy Mykolenko.

However, the Friedkin Group decided to keep their powder dry in preparation for a big spend this summer.

Now, according to TEAMtalk, Moyes and his recruitment team are eyeing a move for Leicester City left-back Victor Kristiansen.

The Scotsman is said to be a ‘big admirer’ of Kristiansen, who joined the Foxes in a £17m deal during the 2023 winter window.

Leicester’s relegation will force them to sell a number of key assets and the Denmark international will command a decent fee.

The 2002-born defender is expected to rival Mykolenko for a starting spot and could also provide cover as a left-midfielder.

Kristiansen indicates he could stay at Leicester
Following Leicester’s relegation, Kristiansen was asked about his future at the club and appeared to hint that he could remain with them in the Championship.

“I think we have a fantastic club that has every opportunity to build something fantastic,” the 22-year-old told Tipsbladet.

“Now it didn’t work out this year, but I’m sure we’ll be able to put something really good together for next season.

“Basically, I have a contract with Leicester, of course.”

Indeed, that could all change if Everton put forward a convincing proposal, so those quotes won’t worry Moyes.

I make it that he has £9.25m book value left? Will anyone pay £10m?

Mesmerising that he had such a good season under Thiago Motta at Bologna cause he always looks knackered and unable to stop crosses in a Leicester shirt

Going rate for a 22yr old international with 2 & 1/2 years top flight experience has to be in excess of £15m

How about the going rate for a left back with two relegations in 3 years and recently displaced by Luke Thomas?

Saying that, I do think he moves on for 10-12m this summer

If we can get £10m that would be ideal, but no doubt it will be a loan with option to buy.

Premier league clubs never get that option on a champ player.

Ok, rarely...

Astonishing how bad this signing turned out to be.

Just watch him go on to be a world-beater once he leaves.  Wouldn't be the first time that a player has disappointed here and gone on to a bigger and better career elsewhere, when in receipt of some decent coaching.

Faes, Soumare and now him all rumoured to be on their way. Fantastic news.

It would be a fantastic start to the summer.

Just need some about Daka now!

If he cost us 17 million with 3 years left on his contract its going to be near 10 million just to get him cleanly off the psr books. Feels impossible.

Exactly.  Loan to Italy with an obligation for the following summer is the most obvious option on this one

Italians don't do obligations.

Good point to be fair. Loan with an option then that they'll inevitably change the details on

Apparently Moyes is interested in him! I read it yesterday I’m sure on a News Feed before the Vardy story broke. He sees him as an upgrade on the Ukrainian lad they have.
