Perhaps him and Becky are staying in a caravan down there?

If they are he needs to stay away from the cliffs.

Score today or not, Vardy is my favourite City player. Going to miss your banter, your fight and your goals.

Thank you for playing a massive part in the greatest era of my City supporting life. The joy is unlikely to be replicated any time in my life as a City fan. Of course, I hope that I am wrong but we know how it looks now and how it's always worked.

Anyhow, this era came at a great time for my kids. They are young tweens but will always be City supporters over this side of the pond. Proudly wear the City top around town. Heck, even the missus Is a fan.

Wishing you all the best today, tomorrow and into your eventual retirement.

Always a fox!

You'd think so given they play at 7:45 this evening lol

Obviously he needs to prioritise what’s important.

So attend here, zoom call the Roma match after from the hotel.

Can't disagree with that :D

Sat on a video call with Vards in the background picking the starting XI. Stuff of dreams lol

Not a bad thing, people at the club have let sentimentality drag on far too long at our expense.

It's gonna be freeing not having Vardy at the club, chance to start a new era.

He deserves every bit of adulation and praise he gets today and I hope he bows out with at least 1 goal and a win.

But, in my opinion, Vardy leaving is the best thing that can happen for both parties and should have happened 2 years ago.

Had to have a little wager on vardy to score and be booked today. Can't shake the feeling he'll be wearing an undershirt with a message on if he scores.

Hopefully the pre match show starts with him going "Oh hello" lol

I would like to start a new era and with the crop of youngsters coming through it feels like one might be around the corner.

The fault with how Vardy's career here has ended doesnt lie with Vardy though, it lies with Rudkin and his awful decision making and transfer strategy over the last 5 years.

Yes he has declined individually over the last 3 seasons but the majority of his issues stem with the quality of the squad around him plummeting.

It's going to be a mix of emotions today, tears, happiness,  gratitude,  fears over what happens to the team and club without him. Looking back on the everlasting memories he has given us. Thank you for your service Jamie.

Surely Red Bull could have latched on to this and supplied a load of freebies after all the publicity he’s given them. On the other hand do you want to be surrounded by 30,000 people who are all pumped and high on Red Bull?

Everyone in the stadium should refuse to walk out today until this LEGEND is given a new contract.

This is a very sad day. Thank you Jamie for all the great moments and memories for me, my children and my whole family.

It's his choice he's leaving ain't it?

Yes. Maybe. I've seen other players convinced to sign new contracts after the intervention of fans some decades ago in countries like Spain and Italy. Don't mind me. It's all a bit emotional now and for all of us.

That’s it for me, I’m not interested in football in a post Vardy world. The greatest

I was just pondering this in my head as I sit contemplating the literal end of an era. It’s actually heartbreaking to see how far we have come and fallen.

Today isn't the fall. It's the peak.

We'll be back strong.
