Any good Scandinavian strikers currently?

The eternal Teemu Pukki had 13 GC in 1233 minutes in the Finnish Prem last season. After Vardy we can sign him and honestly say "we wanted to get younger at the striker position".

Would be a great signing. Someone who would probably come here as a bench option but quickly take over from Patson.

He impressed me in the Europa Conference when I saw him and that's mostly a Championship-ish level.

This guy could be mustard here. That would be a very sensible move but I’m not convinced he’d drop to the championship

Maybe but is there a Prem side that needs a starting striker? He has very little in the way of competition here for a starting berth week in week out.

Don’t think a prem team would necessarily go for him, maybe Leeds at a push. But I think Europe is more likely.  Some big clubs would take him for sure.

Hopefully they want to keep him in England. Chelsea are horrific to deal with for loans though. They are the most expensive club to loan from, they basically ask for transfer fees

The Romano tweet says they'd prefer England....

So, WELCOME Burt!

I mean Marc.

So it does. It’s definitely realistic then

How do you pronounce his name?

Marc or Mars?

Prefer Marc over Mars.

Although he might be past his best seeing as he's now 52 years old

He’s played 46 career games, scoring 16 and assisting 4.

Hes been with barca most of his career so Marti likely knows a lot about him. The Spanish connection with the coach would be huge.

I definitely would have preferred a player that we could purchase but I think this would be too good of a fit to ignore

majority of what you see in this video, is him being successful at winning the ball high up with intense pressing… exactly what Marti has been described to want from his striker

Other than the fact this article is from 9th August last year and doesn't actually mention us, there's lots to get excited about

It’s still the hottest rumour we have!!
