Injury free DCL would take any day of the week. Guy is built weaker than the three pigs straw home

Don't get me wrong with my previous comments btw. DCL would be an immense signing for this level, IF we didn't go silly with wages, AND IF he could stay fit for 60% of the season.

But this won't happen

usual case of young striker played to death and suffering from burn out later in life

Don't think he played an obscene amount that young really

According to wiki, he's played 276 games which surprises me. If he started at 18, that makes around 27 games a season. Really doesn't feel like he's ever played that amount of games..

Offer a basic salary with high bonuses.. prove your ability and make a mint.. won't happen though will just go where the biggest salary is with or without performing.. cant blame him id do the same

people saying DCL, Bamford etc, players like this are not the answer at all, its basically going completely against what the club should be doing

the likes are DCL Bamford are basically like us signing the likes of Skipp Soumare all over again, as we wont be able to shift them

Absolutely agree and dont know the xorrect answer but playing devils advocate, skipp and soumare cost a lot of money to sign and also on high wages at least a free transfer will just be high wages.

I wonder if they are contemplating the idea of playing  Fatawu up front? Partly because we have so many wingers.. he seems to be the only one of all our wingers who can truly finish..

More likely Mavididi up front, surely. He's played there before for a long spell when he was in France

to be honest, I’ve given up trying to find out what current owners are up to..

Mavididi might have played there before, but he's not a natural finisher.  People haven't forgotten the number of times he'd scuff his efforts last time out in the champ have they?

I also think goals are the one area Fatawu lacked in.  But I think that was as much to do with the positions he was taking out wide more than striking ability.

Give Evans a go.

This is the best case scenario right now.

Be very disappointed and would be the first black mark against Marteh if he brings in some dogshit like Bamford and plays him above Evans.

Maybe I am forgetting a lot of scuffs but I personally don't remember Mavididi being an especially bad finisher outside of the Leeds away game when he was not the only one guilty of that. Outperformed his xG that season (last season as well, and indeed 5 of the 6 seasons there is data available for) which, while certainly not definitive proof of anything, doesn't suggest he's stiflingly wasteful considering he's also not the sort of player who's regularly scoring worldies from improbable ranges and angles.

As a Leicester fan living in the Netherlands, I'd be keen to see how AZ Alkmaar do in their Europa Conference League qualifying over the next week, as I think Troy Parrott would be a great signing for us.

Troy Parrott had a good season for them this season, picked up a few injuries here and there, but I think we'd have a slim possibility of signing him if they don't qualify for Europe.

He said in an interview that whether he gets sold to an English team next season isn't up to him, but saying that, he also said he'd like to stay at AZ.

Ironically, I'm sure I've mentioned Parrott before.

I tend to look at the players contract situation when people suggest them. Parrott is under contract until 2029 and has an estimated value of 14mill (that seems to be in euros not £. Either way, financially probably out of reach for us at that point in time.
