I think one goal a game for 38 games would be roughly……. Let me see….. oh yes 38 goals.

Let me have a word with Eni Aluko and I'll get back to you

USG have sold Ivanovic for 20m euros to benfica, I wonder if Promise David who is older (24) and a little less prolific would be attainable?

6'4 unit.  But I don't get the logic.  If they've just sold one of their forwards they're not likely to sanction another departure are they?

I think at best we’ll be getting a loan from the Prem, can’t see us spending £5m+ on a striker given our current financial troubles.

to be honest if not spending money means we kept BEK and got a decent loan (Guiu?) then I think that’s a good result

I think that's a likely outcome.  Only downside seemingly is that Guiu is apparently development only and not loan with any buy option.

Of course it's Chelsea so that could well just be bollocks in order to get a bigger fee when they agree to sell.  But Chelsea haven't got a nailed on striker yet, Delap will have his chance this season, but it's still a position Enzo needs to suss out.

I mean they are happy to sell normally as they find replacements, my logic was that he’d be more attainable in terms of price maybe?

Chuba Akpom could also be a loan option for us.

I know it was champ level but he's had one good (ok, exceptional) season in his entire career.  I'd prefer to just give someone in our ranks a go.  But I could see it if we got favourable terms (ie, it's cheap)

I would not be surprised if we got Deniz Gül on loan (possibly with an option/obligation) from Porto.

Worked under Cifuentes at Hammarby who he brought through the academy.

6ft 3 and the type of striker we don't currently have.

Sounds like Brighton player

good shout that, youd certainly think Porto would be open to the idea of letting go on loan with an option, as I dont think hes done as well as theyd have hoped

Is he struggling to get into the Porto side then?

I will have a Google, but me know nothing about this geezer. But looking at the vid he is exactly what we need. A strong CF with pace. Daka is not strong and Ayew is a sloth sometimes

2 goals in 22 games for Porto last season, come off the subs bench for them at the CWC against Inter Miami, for all of 3 mins

certainly a player id say is within our "market range"
