I have to say I feel sorry for those who divulge possible inside information. They are are met with excitement and enthusiasm one minute, yet vilified if things don't turn out as they suggest within 24 hours. I think we all like to get excited with potential news that affects our club, whether it be accurate or not. I do think most who offer inside information do it with good faith (Sean from Enderby aside) and it does make the threads more exciting and gives you hope or despair for a while.

I think you massively underestimate how much people over the age of 40, like to make up things from behind a keyboard, in their bedroom of their parents house whilst masturbating furiously to the upvotes on their comment.

Bit harsh mate… I’m sure @SecretPro probably isn’t 40.

Surely, given the time we've had, they'd want to get whoever in for start of pre season?

Realistically, it's not beyond the realms of possibility that whoever is coming in has already met the players and those staff taking sessions and laid out a blueprint. The first week is always going to be conditioning focused getting players on a pitch to tolerate the loads that are coming before any form of tactical messaging is implemented. I would hazard a guess whoever is coming in probably has someone present at sessions or has some involvement themselves even if it hasnt been announced.

Photos and videos can easily not show the full picture, and a lot is always going on in the background without any kind of formal announcement. IF, we are having to keep things quiet for financial reasons or anything else, it's very easy to keep that information in house and ensure nothing gets out to compromise that. I know people love to take a dig at the club, but even when we were successful under KP, leaks were always very minimal and a lot only seemed to be reported immediately before announcements. I imagine they will be doing a lot to control the lack of narrative as frustrating as that is for us.

Very well put , but that would be case at clubs with a functioning BOD , that’s something I am afraid we do not possess

If someone says “today’s the day” everyday, then eventually someone will be right

The only person I would probably trust is the one that broke the Vardy news shortly before it was announced

I get it, I really do around how we have been mismanaged by leadership of the club and I'm far from supporting those in charge. However, I think that even they will have someone lined up and ready to go, don't get me wrong, the fact it's going on this long is massively questionable on their behalf anyway. If there wasn't anyone at all in the picture we would know because that's when players and agents would be leaking all sorts to get out of there.

Pretty obvious Kingy will be in charge for tomorrow against Peterborough.

Be great for him to be in charge for a few games

Can look at this 2 ways...

(1) Everything is all agreed with Rohl, they're just waiting for him to leave Sheffield Wednesday - and they completely trust King to run things up until he arrives.

(2) They havent got a fvcking clue and we're just on standby for some sh1t available manager to advertise themselves as interested.

I hope for (1).....but I fear (2)...
