I think the worst thing about that penalty decision is that Luke Shaw was doing the exact same thing just behind what Bassey was doing lol

I’ve just wrote that as well, also took them a couple of minutes to come to the conclusion it was a penalty

Should be disallowed absolutely no question. It’s a 2 handed shove which prevents him heading the ball.


Considering the penalty was given for an equal offence Fulham can rightly claim some ‘big club’ bias there.

Genuinely not in a rush to get back into this league at all.

 

Sour grapes, maybe. But I spent most of my life wanting to see us consistently mixing it with the big boys, now I honestly don’t really care

And Gary Neville, it would seem, is only capable of the righteous indignation, when it is for one of his pet causes.  If that had been against United, he'd be frothing.

This is the thing that really irks me. It's either Sky telling them to not say things to upset the fans of the clubs with the bigger followings/viewers or it's just plain bias from himself. Either way it's a joke

To me,  it can be miserable and it doesn't matter which league it is,  if you're not competitive. The PL was enjoyable until 2022. 8 of our 9 Championship years were miserable until 2014.

Last season was awful and I'm not expecting this one to be much better.
