Look, I am as resigned to our fate as anyone right now, but hear me out.

Cov's best season in 30 years, Forest's first in Europe in 30 years, and our worst season in nearly 20 years results in all three of us playing second tier football next season. Oh and Derby are there too I guess.

We're looking more and more like the ones to ruin that equation, but my god it would be hilarious if that's how it pans out.

As for Dyche, GERRIMIN

Insane to sack a manager after a really unlucky result like that. They’ve been grinding out results for the most part, really not sure what they were expecting

Clubs that go through managers at that rate usually get relegated.

Here's hoping, anyway.

If it doesn't happen this season, it'll happen next.  No way they comply with PSR for a start.

Nuno had only just been given a new contract before being sacked, Ange will have been on big money and now Dyche. That's just managerial appointments. Then the amount they spent in the summer with very few who've actually improved them, the bonuses and pay rises they handed out to the players from last season to ward off bigger clubs and to attempt to lock in European football.

They're relegation battlers with Europa League expenses, and we know for ourselves how that ends. Plus you'd have to question who goes there with all of this hanging over them as Marinakis may not be able to back them too much over the summer, the likes of Anderson, Gibbs-White and Murillo will leave and he gets through managers at a rate of knots. Similar to the way that Wolves sold Cunha, Ait-Nouri and now Strand Larsen with little to replace them, but with the added pressure of an owner who sacks at will.

Different problems to us, yes. Similar outcome in the long-run.

Surely he has somebody lined up, otherwise that’s crazy.

He might think they can get de Zerbi.

De Zerbi and Frank are similar in the sense that they looked excellent at clubs with top notch recruitment, but struggled afterwards. The poor quality of Forest's recruitment this season is a big part of why they've seriously declined.

Bet Stelios doesn’t take 3 weeks to appoint  a new manager

Or take half a season to sack one.

It's early Feb and they're on the fourth manager of the season, not sure I'd give that fat fraud any praise tbh

They thought Ange was too attacking and Dyxhe too defensive ?

Obviously need a manager with some middle ground - and to win most weeks .

I mean they had a perfectly good one last season ..

Thats their problem they just get anyone in, plus their arrogance.... and apparantley quite a few of these "top pplayers" they have had a huge ego problem and believe they are better than they are and are untouchable. Jesus is a right big headed bugger apparantley

they will be in the bottom 3 in a couple more games

So Forest's season is based on the three little pigs story?

Vitor Pereira supposedly, if you were a Forest fan, youd be spitting feathers.

Were we not rumoured to be talking to him not long after we sacked Cifuentes ?

Ill be honest i havent seen any indication of anything remotely reliable arouns our interests. If we were rumoured/linked with him, Id be massively underwhelmed. His job for Wolves last season was hardly inspiring considering it coincided with 3 of the worst relegated sides the PL has seen and he managed 2 points from 10 games this season.

Not surprising, as you'd probably get a carbon copy of what happened at Wolves. Stay up by the skin of their teeth, mass exodus of players in the summer with horrid recruitment to replace them and then an atrocious second season before he's sacked and the merry-go-round starts again.
