So Forest's season is based on the three little pigs story?

Ha yes seems that way.’

They are probably like our fans and owner -  don’t care how the team is playing or who is in it so long as the wins are coming .

But as soon as things go wrong then time to hit panic stations and demand change.

Before working out that really maybe the players just aren’t that great and no you won’t be perfect every week ?

With our own situation, Sheff Wed, Forest across this season, Ratcliffe, and others across the season, leadership in football is f**ked!

These initial "fit and proper" tests should be reviewed every 2 or 3 years to further protect clubs from these charlatans

Just seen a few clips of Postecoglou on the rest is football podcast, something about the bloke just really rubs me the wrong way if I'm being totally honest. Just don't like the bloke

If it doesn't happen this season, it'll happen next.  No way they comply with PSR for a start.

Nuno had only just been given a new contract before being sacked, Ange will have been on big money and now Dyche. That's just managerial appointments. Then the amount they spent in the summer with very few who've actually improved them, the bonuses and pay rises they handed out to the players from last season to ward off bigger clubs and to attempt to lock in European football.

They're relegation battlers with Europa League expenses, and we know for ourselves how that ends. Plus you'd have to question who goes there with all of this hanging over them as Marinakis may not be able to back them too much over the summer, the likes of Anderson, Gibbs-White and Murillo will leave and he gets through managers at a rate of knots. Similar to the way that Wolves sold Cunha, Ait-Nouri and now Strand Larsen with little to replace them, but with the added pressure of an owner who sacks at will.

Different problems to us, yes. Similar outcome in the long-run.

most of us agree with this.

regardless of the like he's insightful for the goings on in Spurs & what he says is a perfect example of why we find ourselves in this situation, despite a lot not liking it, but.....we dared to challenge & then weren't brave enough when we did get there, its as smple as that.

Whilst i haven't yet seen the Lineker podcast, i imagine much the same as he talks about on the Overlap, he says within Spurs its written & talked about everywhere is the phrase 'To Dare is to Do' & yet what he has seen is the opposite of that. They finished 5th but instead of buying players that will get them 4th, & the players he wanted at that time were Neto, Mbeumo, Semenyo & Guehi they ended up with young inexperienced lads (Gray, Odobert & Bergvall) because they were cheap(er) or they were looking 3 or 4yrs down the line not for the following season.

Cut to us & Rodgers, We stopped our model to have a push after tasting success of the title, Rodgers would have come in & said do you want more of the same or do you want to drop & just be content with a mid table finish.
They obviously said we want to go for it so we kept our best players & rewarded to try & push on..but did the same thing happen on transfers in? I know i'm sure someone will find a line that say that every transfer had Rodgers seal of approval but do we also have a line to say how much was actually put up for transfers, is there a line to say who we were actually after but ended up with, especially in those those later years...i will die on the hill agreeing with Rodgers that the playing squad needed a refresh, regardless of how he did/didn't conduct himself after, but because he wasn't allowed to refresh it was in that moment we stopped as a club 'Daring' or in our case 'Quited'.

It's all a case of stick or twist, Palace will be the next club to fall away they held on a little longer to their biggest names to earn them the FA cup & now its all falling apart, Forest will follow but due to the overspend on wages as well as the continued revolving door.
Fans of 1 club are so reactionary to other clubs in bigging them up & saying how well run they are, this season its Brentford & Sunderland last few seasons it was Brighton & Palace but, & we can chuck in Fulham, is it that hard to not finish midtable if that is what you are set up to do - but where's the fun, the ambition, the point of competing if that is the only setting?

Made more sense to pay him off and get a new manager in who wants to work with those players

it’s staggering how many people are still brainwashed by him

Rumours Maranakis wants Paco Jemez.... clever that, take Nuno's life support away from him, even if Paco doesn't win as many games with Forest they'll likely stay up at West Ham's expense.

We are. It's probably why nothing ever gets sorted. Everyone moans but does nothing about it. Compared to Countries like France who act on anything they don't believe in.

And here's Ratcliffe bringing in all these foreign players over!!

Also the same one who migrated to Monaco to avoid paying £4b of tax.
