Leeds have loaned 17 year old Harry Gray to league one Rotherham who are in a relegation scrap. Could give a rough idea I suppose

We’ll no doubt only manage to send Evans to the bottom end of the national league. But Gray is a good comparison.

Motsi will not be loaned out, Well shouldn’t be ! The trajectory he has been on over the last 12 months if that continues he will be comfortable playing for us in league one next season.

I don't think he can be loaned out given his age.. I Don't think anyone is suggesting that anyway, the chat is about `Evans going out on loan..

ANOTHER Leeds Gray? Which one’s this, Gray the younger, Gray the even younger, Gray the glint in the milkman’s eye? Yet another match commentary will be turned into an episode of “who do you think you are” as the family tree is dissected and “ooh look in the crowd there’s a Gray….and another….and another…”

Breed like rabbits the Grays.

There is quite clearly a pathway at the moment, I do think there’s a lot to criticise the manager about; but he does have some overpaid over valued assets sadly he has to play ahead of some at the moment, maybe as they are actually slightly better than them at the moment being a factor too.

U18s 1-0 against Reading.

Hutchinson scored after 3 minutes

How on earth is he still in the 18s. We deserve to lose him to another club.

Think he was on the bench for the U21s earlier this week, but not sure if he got on. Maybe this is just to get him minutes...but yeah, he needs game time at a higher level.

Hope we can get Evans at Fleetwood so I can watch him often, they definitely need a striker. However I struggle to see managers being keen on signing. 17 year old at that level.

Northampton fans saying Evans has been training with them not sure if true or not.

Wonder if Marti going changes anything?

I doubt it.

Think we bring in a CF anyway.

Needs to be playing lots of minutes.

U21s at home to Chelsea tonight.

Chelsea usually stream their academy games. So potential for it to be on YouTube.

It's listed on "live Football on TV" as being available on the Chelsea app & website, so you are hopefully correct

Is there any possible reason why he wouldnt get promoted at least to the 21s? All-round game not quite good enough? Prolific just because he's physically more developed than his age group? He once looked at Rudkin funny and now he's being blocked?

I've not seen much/any of his play apart from the odd clip on here, but the stats at least speak for themselves. Criminal if we let good strikers go to waste as much as we have done.

On that note - who's seen as the bigger talent; Evans or Hutchinson? Both the same age, Hutchinson has been more prolific but Evans has had more experience playing up the age groups. Could they both make it here?

It's been alluded the club think he needs to improve his all round game but surely that's better built in the U21s than the U18s that he evidently finds far too easy both last season, let alone this season.

Good question, i'd say Evans seems to have the bigger reputation but both are very talented.

For those that know the rules, is there a chance we haven’t give Evan’s game time because he wouldn’t have been allowed to also go on loan? As he would already have played for the 21s in the cup that counts?

Depends on how you judge far too easy

Against Chelsea u18's he hardly got a kick and was virtually non existent until he got taken off at half time. There centre half is top player so you could alike it to playing against an u21

He wasn't that much more prominent against Reading apparently but as usual he took his one chance very well

Very very difficult to look like a world beater when you play up top on your own so there are certainly plenty of reasons for him not appearing to impact the game enough

Bottom line is he scores goals with relevant ease when the opportunity arises

That finish against Reading was top
