I would like to see to see us make  use of the loan system and hopefully use funds effectively by paying loan fees for fringe prem players rather than injury prone late 30 olds , but expect the opposite

Why do people think Bournemouth are going to let one of the best talents around go on loan in the championship for a season? He will be one of the surprise players in the PL next season.

Because they have evanilson and are rumoured to be signing another striker. 
 

They can afford to let him figure out English football before throwing him in :dunno:

He's far to good to spend a season in the championship and for my money is better than Evanilson anyway.

 

Getting him on loan is very much a pipe dream and we should be looking to develop our own players anyway.

He’s not going to be anywhere near evanilson yet. he hit very good numbers in the French second division, which is the equivalent of the better league 1 teams, standard wise. 
 

If he smashes pre-season they’ll give him some opportunities but definitely won’t have decided his future just yet. 
 

if he smashed in the championship with us, they’d either be able to sell him for a fortune or he’s ready for them. But with a top class striker already in place, I just can’t see them wasting his development by sitting on the bench for a year.

Hopefully we take advantage of the Premier League loan market for a CB this summer. 
 

So many intriguing talents coming through in that position.

We should only be loaning players we have a realistic chance of adding to the squad in next summer should we find ourselves back in the premier league.  So either promotion option clauses or players who are clearly not going to be breaking into their prem clubs squad in the next year or two.  As we know there is a huge difference between good enough to go up and good enough to be even on the bench for a mid to upper table side. so shouldn't be impossible.

We need to overhaul the squad too much and still need to try to minimise the spend. We're going to have to bite the bullet and use a couple of quality loans even if that means developing other people's players. 

 

You earn the right to not do that and currently we've lost it.

I'd rather we spent a few years building a squad, playing our own young players.  Then again I don't have to watch it every week.

I know what you mean and I agree but it’s his passing ability for me it’s quality and LCB I think would be lovely.

Ayden Heaven at Man Utd might be gettable. Chelsea have a few, but I think Josh Acheampong might be the most realistic. Simpson-Pusey at Man City will surely get loaned out. 
 

Then you have a few elsewhere, Yasin Ozcan coming into Aston Villa and Tyler Bindon coming into Forest.

He can also play RCB, Maresca used him in that position a couple of times this season.

Has Edouard gone back to Palace? 
If he has did he thank the staff up at Seagrave for accommodating him for the whole of last season, this signing epitomises the sad state our club has descended to… :dunno:
