Owner of the masters can do what they want with them. They came back in Spotify a few years back, with the guitarist confirming Watkins got nothing, and that the music videos went back up with the comments off. 

 

Sick, horrible, twisted scum of a man who will be missed by no one. I feel for his victims only.

I've been waiting for this day for years. Used to love Lostprophets, I had a friend many years ago who was sadly murdered when she was 20. The last time I saw her alive was at a Lostprophets gig and I used their music to keep a connection to her. Obviously since it all came out what Watkins did I couldn't bring myself to listen to their music anyore. The thought of lining his pockets disgusted me. I feel like I might be able to start listening to their music again now on small doses without feeling too guilty about it

Not good news imho. His suffering is now over, yes there is no disputing he deserved it, but neither did he deserve the early ‘release’ of being killed. I am sure his time in prison as a paedo would have been rightfully horrendous.

Fairly sure plenty of reports had/have come out since his incarceration that have, unfortunately, made his time inside seem anything other than horrendous and his remorse for his crimes almost non-existent.

Why did the Wales police fail to act on information from his former girlfriend, and others, concerns about his activity?

 

They failed the victims of Watkins.

Don't think of it as some kind of flaw in your ability to judge a character. He wouldn't have been able to get away with his crimes for so long if he wasn't so  manipulative and couldn't present himself as a decent guy.

No, not really. Cambridge dictionary: "something considered embarrassing or morally wrong". Maybe a pretty mild or euphemistic way of putting it - I think you'd normally use it for something like a politician having an affair rather than the sort of depraved stuff this freak was getting up to - but not inaccurate.

Yeah I just always thought it was interchangeable with wrongdoings
