Same was quite a good game but like you say missed a lot of chances esp Portugal in the first half, fell sleep second half.

He was picked but he's going to CWC with Chelsea. Same with Jobe Bellingham.

Bit of a dearth of strikers anyway - looking at Wiki and there's Dane Scarlett, Joe Gelhardt and perhaps Sam Greenwood as central forwards recently called up.

In the squad for the tournament - there's only really Jay Stansfield as the out and out striker. Everyone else seems to be a wide forward or winger.

England have actually got into some decent positions but Germany have scored 2 easy goals. Midfielders at full back not really working.
