£35m would make him the 14th most expensive Bundesliga signing ever. There's just no way.

I think they'd be the sort of club that would agree to a big sell on % if we compromised on the fee down to £25m + add ons.

Might work out after he decides he (his mum) hates it there after 12 months.

That’s how much Leverkusen spent on Malik Tillman this summer and Bilal is way better.

No one wants to pay it, you can see a team coming in on deadline day but that leaves us with no replacement.

Need to sign this bloke from Millwall if that's to happen and maybe Chair ?

But clubs are willing to pay £35m+ for Dibling and Fernandes from Soton and Hutchinson from Ipswich. Should we let Bilal go for considerably less?

Leipzig and Stuttgart are going to be keen but still don't see any of them paying north of £30m. We are going to have to play this right. I don't think it's worth keeping him, i'd take anything about £25m.

The only problem with that would be the fan response to Rudkin and co for selling Bilal for an apparent “below market value”.

I think the happy medium is £25m base with add ons and a decent sell on %

Players like BEK will do the same each time they get a sniff of a bigger club and he's got massive potential.

I think with his reported behaviour, this is around what it'll be.

I can see us settling for £27.5m + £2.5m in add ons as I can see him and his mum kicking off to get his move away. I still think he will miss tonight’s game with a mysterious illness or slight niggle.

The last thing we need is to keep an unhappy player it’s already challenging enough. Personally we need find a compromise that works for all parties and move on.

As much as I love BEK, we have too many players who don’t want to be here. The more we have, the bigger the cancer grows over time. Get rid for 25-30m and bring a few in that want to fight for the shirt and be part of something, even if they don’t match his quality and intensiteeeeee.

Probably the right way to go.

I hope if he’s sold they can agree quickly and get some fresh faces in. While we probably expect a couple more out the door, we already in need of new faces to lift the place and a little spark up top / in midfield especially if BEK is off.

You are Jon Rudkin and I claim my £5

No it’s just basic sense. If we don’t sell him for a reasonable amount of money/profit that’s his value, no point letting clubs take the piss. Rudkin has done many things wrong but holding firm on the price of a talented young player on a 4 year deal isn’t one of them

So is the price £35mill?  And does he want to go to a midtable Bundesliga club?  I know it's a step up but maybe not what he was hoping for.

And can we convince them to loan us anyone worth having?

What the **** does he want? The mighty Palace or Sunderland and a knock down fee? It’s not really up to him, he signed a 4 year deal with us last year, he goes to where meet our fee or shuts the **** up and cracks on for 3 years whining spoilt baby.

Wonder if he'll end up at Stuttgart now they've just taken in a big fee.

That's what I was thinking when I saw them linked. The took a punt on that striker now heading to Newcastle last summer and now could use that fee to sign a couple of players to replace him. Look to develop them up and cash in again. BEK could be one.

He’s okay, however I don’t think he’ll ever go on to be anything more than a steady player at a bottom half Premier League club.

If we can north of £25m for him, then get him gone.

If we’re talking about perceptions of people, I can’t see how people can’t  dislike the bloke more than Winks to be honest.

You are aware that they don't show any training moves, or the intensity on purpose don't you?

They are trying to show a short clip of a team showing togetherness. Not to give the opposition an advantage.

What?? Im sure the minimum any opposition team would expect is intensity during a match,  so I dont see how we could be giving away advantage. Short clip or not, im not seeing any effort or intensity there and thats mirrored on match days. Lets see if they prove me wrong tonight.

Do you genuinely believe that's the extent of training in that clip there? Like genuinely?

No obviously not it was a 2 minute clip but if thats what trainings like when someone's recording then heaven knows what its like when nobody's watching! Let's wait and see if the 'effort' is transferred to the pitch tonight then come back at me.

The training clip for the Birmingham game is the warm up. The club won’t show the high intensity stuff which probably gives tactical clues for tonight’s game

It's crazy that this actually has to be said.
