Can see him staying, 5 minute strop on Monday and then he will be right as rain for Oxford.

Nice to see us holding firm on valuation, gives weight to the theory that we’ve filled the black hole.

We don’t need to sell now though? Think the suggestion I’ve seen was we’re in compliance with PSR as of now.

PSR may be complied with but we haven't got any budget for incoming signings. Equally the club might be sensible to build up a money bank as PSR will be another challenge on the next cycle.

If I was a player and my club valued me at 25 million or whatever and the bidding club comes in with a puny bid of say 23 million, to me it says that club don’t really want you, they aren’t willing to pay your worth, do they really value you? If a club really wants a player they pay up and get the deal done. Really clubs ought to be deducted points for this kind of rubbish as it is genuine cheating! Pay up greedy ***** or **** off!

You think bidding a fee 8% below the asking prices is puny? lol

The window is nearly shut, the period to build a war chest to attack the window has kind of passed now.

The club would need that money in January potentially or to even service the existing wage bill given the club's use of the Australian bank loans.

Random Leeds Twitter accounts suggesting they are in for him for a loan with an obligation. No accounts of actual credibility though.

Doubt we'd agree to that anyway, as surely they would only be obliged to pay if they stay up, so no use at all to us.

Clubs never really operated like that though, usually it’ll end up with extended debt and top usually pays it off

Think we sell of VK to Forest and use that for a striker and a pair of CM’s, maybe a LB on loan too

Ideally we sell VK, Faes, Winks and Daka before Monday and bring in someone who can play LB/CB, a starting CM and two strikers.

If we can do that with keeping BEK we would be left with a great squad.

It’s probably unlikely but it might help with cash flow/PSR for next summer.

My nervousness would be we exit the window with a very disconnected and pissed off Faes, Winks and BEK because the moves they were expecting don’t materialise. I appreciate all 3 are professionals and need to knuckle down however it is a concern the damage that could be done if the three of them do spend the following 4 months downbeat and effectively checked out of the club, could have a really detrimental impact to what Marti is trying to instill.

There is no guarantee that the closure of the transfer window will magically change any of these players mindsets and we have evidence of what can happen when players go through the motions at a club, Tielemans , Evans et al in our first relegation season.

Obligation should be irrelevant to staying up.  Our fatawu deal was obligation based on appearances and us going up.  we could accept a psr neutral deal with Leeds based on staying up but that could mean he returns to us next summer and we have this all over again.  Plus if he performs badly for them then his value may drop.

we aren't going to sign anyone i don't think. with the possible exception being a championship ready, mid level striker.

If we sell Faes, Kristiansen and El Khannous this week we still have  a squad of 25 as below, 7 of which are U21 homegrown but still have operated in and around the squad. I've highlighed BDR in red, because he is missing presumed dead.

If we are going for a hard financial reset, then practically we could sell 2 or 3 more and still not bring see fit to bring anyone in.

The jeopardy is, that if we receive a points deduction and/or suffer 3 or 4 injuries we will struggle to put out a side that could give Harborough Town a game....

Stola Begovic Bausour

Ricardo Coulibaly Faes Vest Okoli Nelson Thomas Aluko Joseph Kristiansen

Choudhury Skipp Soumare Winks

Fatawu Alves Page El Khannous Mavididi Marcal Monga BDR Thomas

Ayew Daka Evans

This is the more likely scenario.  At least we haven’t got the funds to be stuck with more donkeys.

Bit confused here, though a £32 million fee had been agreed and now reading he is on a par with the Anti Christ. Is there any evidence of him downing tools or is it just a Tweet from a Journo who has a vested interest in stirring things up

He made his instagram profile pic black for a short period yesterday before switching it back to normal. Just how much more evidence do you need, exactly?!

The club have had two loans off the Aussie bank and spent the grand total of £2million pounds in transfers during that period. We've had another loan confirmed today. The days of Top clearing up a debt (under rules they can only carry so much now as well) are going. King Power's money tap looks off to me.
