With a competent coach he could be a good player. He goes in Jan with my best wishes. He falls into the bracket of player where his form is a reflection of the club, not him.

I think it's a mixture of him just being desperate to do something because he knows no-one else appears capable and him being greedy because he wants the glory. He will have a decent career but not at the top level.

Variety of issues with Fatawu. Trying too hard on the ball, Poor body language starting to show off it. Like others have said, he's lacking a manager that's forcing enough discipline (and just a good enough level of coaching to be honest) on him and that's becoming pretty obvious.

It seems that he’s trying too hard. Sometimes you look at him. You think he looks frustrating by the teams lack of quality  the lad has passion and some amazing skills. I suppose he thinks if he doesn’t take the shots who is he’s had some amazing goals for us absolutely world class Can we keep him this January? I hope so it’s like everybody said before this lad needs a decent manager and trainer to get him and the rest of the team playing as one rather than against each other.

I’m not saying he’s blameless but I think he needs to play under a stronger manager

He definitely needs someone to guide him.  He has regressed in his overall game and the worldies, because of his greed makes him stand out.  The manager is useless so Ricardo should be pulling these guys up.

He is actually good at the basics of a winger.  Running into space, pass, move and cross.  We have scored goals like this but he hardly wants to do it. Thats all down to managements lack of purpose, discipline and tactics.

He doesn’t seem to be working that well with JJ because he isn’t playing as a team player.  It happened again yesterday where JJ gets the ball and drives forward, holds off players waiting for him to run into space ahead but he just stands level or behind him on the wing.

This season he doesn’t seem to have the instincts of getting into space but wants to stand still and skin a player where as running and passing avoids the player and he’s on a front foot. Something we get undone with constantly, yet Marti’s sets us up to avoid pass and move basics.

All our wingers and forwards are the same.  It’s either run into groups of players trying to do as much skill as possible, ignoring simple passes or they do the hard part to get close to the box and then don’t actually pull the trigger.  Mav, Ayew, Fatawu and Monga all play the same way.  All wax no wick.  They play like they are on the training pitch trying to get IG clips rather than in a team.

Reid was poor yesterday but he knows when to pull the trigger, the same with JJ.

Trying too hard.  He needs a coach/person he respects to calm him down.

Agree with coaching him more extensively and not so much the manager. He's young and needs to respect the really good players around him, bcause then he'll listen to their instruction. He's not getting that at Leic because most if our senior pros are not at one with squad or club. His work rate/tracking back, most of the time, will be as enticing as his wing play to Bournemouth.

Our tactics and play are just bad.

we need to play our wingers narrow where they can be dangerous.

Ive said many times in here, if even try playing Fatawu and mavididi as a front two with someone behind them almost like a false 9.

Enzo had him under his thumb, and to pretty good effect to be fair. Safe to say we haven’t seen the same discipline in his game since.

Abdul frustrates the life out of me at times with his poor decision making however he clearly cares and I think it’s more out of frustration and a desire to try and grab the game by the scruff of the neck. There were times last night where he looked on the verge of tears. The trouble is when he gets into this position he then makes rash decisions like the dive which was embarrassing or trying another shot from miles out.

In truth the tactics stifle all our main wide attacking threats such as Abdul, Stephy and Monga and you can see none look happy or like they have that spark. Personally I think we will cash in if we recieve a bid of £30m+ in January. It’s sad as he should be a cheat code at this level and yet our own tactics are largely negating the ability of all 3 of our main winger options which is an absolute disgrace.

Happily let him go. He's a great player in a side that does well, but in a backs to the wall relegation battle he's crap. And that's what we're in. Too busy shouting at other people for not being as good as him than to get his sleeves rolled up and defend.

I think his form is a symptom of the terrible manager. He's a rough round the edges player who'll look very good in a well organised side and terrible in a bad one.

He's not been good this season but I still think he's responsible for pulling a lot of the wool over the eyes of quite how dreadful we are at the minute.

The standards of the Pearson era would be absolutely fuming at this (shot map.)

Who would have thought a documentary and one of his flukey goals depicted on mugs and t shirts results in sub par shots from **** knows where.

He should not be starting right now. I would be playing BDR on the right without question for a few weeks with Fatawu coming off the bench.

Marti doesn't have the ability to improve Fatawu, or the balls to drop him.

By the way, what the **** are the analysts doing?? Surely they're telling Abdul NOT to shoot like a *****. I know they're there, and know they give post match feedback.

About right, Dan. He's bailed us out a lot of times this season with screamers. But that doesn't give him a free pass to waltz around screaming at others and shooting at every opportunity he gets. It's a team game.

If Brennan Johnson is £35m, given Fatawu's age and potential, id be asking for similar. I dont rate Johnson at all and I think Fatawu will be become a far superior player.

I really like him as both a player and personality, but I'd sell if we get £30m (and more importantly if we will actually reinvest it).

Desperately need to balance / freshen up the squad.

You know, not too long ago he was probably my favourite player on and off the pitch.

Hes fast become one of the most annoying on and off it.

As I have said elsewhere,  there must be a very talented player in there, but not at this club under this management which is all that really matters.

I'd sell, wish him well and hope he flourished elsewhere.

Need an Albrighton-esque winger rather than Mavididi to balance out Fatawu and Monga. Someone with killer vision and an ability to fashion a chance quickly, rather than the need to run through 3 players.
