They don't have any interest in anything else to do with the game and they're so one-eyed that everything else in the game falls outside of their radar. Low block, tactics over ingenuity, positioning over chaos has ruined the game. Guardiola introduced an incredible brand of football, he is a genius, but unfortunately it's completely taken the fun out of football. I can barely watch a city game let alone watch anybody else. I went to most games under Enzo and I've never been so bored in my life half the time, despite smashing the league up. 13

Totally legitimate reasons for falling out of love with the game. I do find myself distracted during games a lot more than I used to be. It isn't the same as peak Barclays for sure. 2
