A player that can take the ball under pressure and not look like he's holding a live grenade will always look good in the lower leagues.

The problem is that every midfielder does that at a higher level. He's got to add more to his game in terms of physicality and by looking to hurt teams. He's neat and safe which is good but Sammy needs to do more to impact the game. It's no good just being neat and tidy. I'm sure it'll come but i'd take these sort of reviews with a pinch of salt because most midfielders at that level are simply thugs with a pair of boots on.

The most important thing for Sammy is minutes at the moment, he's playing almost every minute for Newport.

Assist is a bonus.

Hopefully his proformances get a better club sniffing around for a new loan in January.

I would rather him stay where he is now he has cemented his place in the side

I think it's ok for now, he's going to play another 16 games by the January window.

That could be 20 full games.

Newport are a terrible side, I think there is a limit to what he learns there.

I hope the probable change of manager at Newport doesn’t stunt Opoku & Braybrooke’s progression in the team.

They haven’t won in something like 8 games and sit outside relegation places on GD, so he must be under threat.

Ideally they both make it to January and then recalled to go to a Lge 1 or better still a championship side otherwise I think we can probably say goodbye to both in that they won’t get a chance with us if not.
