Think Marti is doing really well. Inherited a squad that was low on confidence and morale, players who didn't want to be here and very little money to spend on a rebuild. Added to this, he's trying to adopt a style of play that is different from the two clowns that led us last year. Give it a dozen games and I think we'll see a team going from strength to strength.

Aren't we about 4 as it stands?

I was responding to people that say the squad is dross, and yourself implying we are slumming it. Whilst having players on the bench that cost £15m and £20m just a season ago that can’t get even get on

Coventry are unbeaten this season and have scored 15 goals.

Would you rather us press, leave gaps and be 1/2 down in the first 10m?

We were defensively solid, created the biggest chances and should have won the game.

Yeah but we didn't win the game.

At the end of the season they don't count the nearly points.

We've now dropped points against Preston, Coventry and Oxford. 2 points from 9 against those is criminal for a team paying ££££ per week for some players and have promotion ambition.

You words not mine.

I said he's had nothing to spend on a permanent transfer which is factually correct.

Only Sheffield W and Oxford have spent the same as us, I'd say that's slumming it.

3 players worth 20m added to a squad relegated from the Prem with highly rated young players.
Not exactly slumming it

Who have played around 90 minutes between them as we got them late and had no pre-season.

1 has hardly play for 18 months due to a knee injury.

Hate to think of your assessment of Still and Mckenna starts to the season.

As I said you words not mine I was responding to your use of the term.....

Think we are improving. Today was the best we have played and definitely an 11 closer to what I would like.

Could have easily won that by a few today. Striker remains a concern though.

Considering the pressure that Cov put us under from the start I thought our defence was strong, well organised and resolute.

For the first time in a while I felt comfortable with our back line, they struggled to create any real chances

Like some have said, we had a lot of upheaval during pre season and transfer window, as today was the 1st time this season he put out a team most of us would agree is somewhere  close to the strongest we can put out. I think it’s a solid start, but after today I thinks we will get better and hopefully results will follow . Today was an encouraging performance,  on another day could have won🏆🏆🏆

I personally think Marti being able to stop us having a weak underbelly and conceding goals was his first big task. Which he has done a fairly good job of as we’re shipping significantly less chances than at Charlton for example. The creativity will come.

Agreed. Think he's done a good job. Let's not forget the rot he's already cleared up.

We need more goals in the side, that's for sure. No one in this squad scores more than 10 in a season. But is that his fault? Midfield could be more dynamic though.

From the mess and the attitude last season to this, I would say Marti is doing good. It's not perfect, but it's getting better. Like others have said, we look better defensively, and today especially, the patterns of play are starting to appear more regularly.

Today was poor finishing. We could and probably should have won that game, but a draw not the end of the world.

Just in the atmosphere in the stadium, Marti has done a good job. He's got everyone together, and from what we had last season, it a big improvement

He's steady the ship, and quicker than I thought. He has changed the team into one that is showing determination and playing together.  Anyone questioning him is an idiot. There I said it.

I think the speed of (or lack of) the progress means we won't get promoted this year. Are fans broadly ok with that?

I'm not!

Today was an opportunity to lay down a marker. With the strongest side (mostly), at home in a derby....the pressing wasn't there and we were turgid for 30 mins. I'm not sure why people are seeing past that?

Also nobody mentioning that cov had a couple of chances themselves too.
