Given the little time together I'm liking the glimpses of what we're seeing. 

 

Aggressive pressing. Doesn't look like we'll be willing to drop back and wait. Proactive. Agressive. Hunting in packs. Love it.

 

Occasionally pinging the long diagonals, can see our wide players getting a bit more freedom and joy.

 

Early days but good signs.

Our problem is there is no attacking output from the midfield.. and Daka is our main striker!

As far as a managers first half of football for a team, in a friendly, I personally think it's encouraging. 

 

It's clearly not there yet and we need incomings in certain areas of the park but you can see what we are trying to do and if we get the right people in, it will be very enjoyable to watch.

I don’t think Bilal is much of 10, more an 8.

Agreed. It does appear that glimpses of what Marti wants are coming through. We already look miles better than last season…..

Yea he could play instead of Skip or Winks and then get another attacking player in there

Really wanted daka to do well here because he seems a likeable guy but he can't kick a football, it's bizarre..

Glad they are playing in pink to see our players. This due to the distance the camera is set up from the field. Not a good idea setting it  on top of Old John.

He cannot be any worse than Daka and he might at least actually benefit and improve from it

You can see cifuentes influence has already made team look better .. just wish there was a prime vardy up front

The difference between this and the end of last season is night and day.

 

In the space of a week we have a clear plan, players look confident and we’re moving the ball with purpose.

 

Really positive signs.
