Reciprocal Pricing

An open thread/letter to Leicester City,  @Foxes_Trust @Union FS and any other supporter groups. 

 

Please can we push reciprocal pricing? It was a max £30 cost for away tickets in the Premier League. Now we're in the championship this will be more. 

 

A cov mate of mine has just told me they'll be charging us £45 for our game there as we are their Category A+ along with Birmingham. 

 

No doubt we will be other clubs higher graded games too.

Cov mate came to show me the pricing, charging £45 is ridiculous. Would be great for the trusts to come together and show this is unacceptable

If Cov want to be greedy and charge £45 then we should charge £55 to them seeing as we have a nicer stadium.

This is firmly my wheelhouse over the last two months I have been consulting with the FSA Championship Network to understand what clubs do it and then be able ourselves to push it. 

 

Last season I am told only Leeds, Stoke and Cardiff would do it with any regularity. The previous season more were involved including Birmingham. 

 

The following clubs last season were £30 plus:- Ipswich, Sheffield United, Coventry, Bristol City, Blackburn, Norwich, Millwall, QPR, Watford and Wednesday. Both Sheffield clubs and Coventry in particular are obscene.

Ridiculous situation that we drop down a division and end up paying more for away games

Based on what? Minus the Cov badge id say theres is nicer if anything. They have proper bars in their home end concourses

This title for tat nonsense is how Rangers and Celtic ended up playing with no away fans at OF games and it hitting the fixture. 

 

Putting up the prices because they did and vice versa will just price out real fans and leave it at the point where the only people that go are the cucumber sandwich eaters who can afford it and the atmosphere will suffer.

Location is the only thing better about ours.

Reciprocal away allocations would also be nice, no point giving the full 3.3k if clubs in similar sized grounds just give us the EFL minimum 2k.

I boycotted Coventry last time because they were charging £36. As always though people moan about pricing but still go.

 

Anything over £30 for any game is ridiculous, never mind second tier. It's why I stopped going to Leeds years ago, they were charging £35 back then.

Just seen that Coventry are charging their home fans that much too and seems they're all (rightly) pissed off.

Last season we were in the championship most of the matches I went to coast £25-£30 which I thought was reasonable the clubs don't get Premier league money and rely on ticket sales more, I agree Coventry are overpricing especially after the experience we had there last time we should have hazard pay I thought I was at Millwall.

At the recent FCC, meeting the club confirmed they have been and will continue to reach out for agreements on reciprocal pricing in the EFL.

Got a weekend in London when we play Charlton. Got three tickets in the home end as there's no chance of getting an away ticket. Paid £38 each.

 

Not been to the Valley before and wanted to get a match in while we're there, but £114 for three Championship tickets for Charlton. They're all at it.

As people will hopefully have already seen from @CosbehFox on here, the Trust is already onto this as a supporter issue and actively working to see what can be done.
