And ok, there's something of a nice structure there but it still needs 4 massive changes (Nelson for Vestegaard, McAteer for Ayew, anyone for shit and shitter in the double pivot)

Exactly, rather see Vestegaard being crap in pre-season & Marti see Nelson is the way to go.

Oh fatty we’ve missed you, such a smooth runner and so comfortable on the ball.

 

If it weren’t for our divisional status and the way we’re run I’d be so full of hope for the future, building a team around Mads, Bilal, Fatawu and Monga, having our own unique DNA as a fast breaking, skilful flair side, like the Harlem Globetrotters on acid.

I don’t want Daka as our main striker but if it’s between him and Ayew, I’d personally have loved to try to boost Daka’s confidence by saying you’re my guy (for now).

I’d give Marti’s coaches voice video a watch if you haven’t already. 
 

I’ve watched it a couple of times in recent days, you can already see his methods translating into this team. 
 

In the video he mentions his striker “dropping” or playing like a “false nine” on a few occasions. 
 

I think that’s why Ayew has started today, he can produce those attributes a bit better than Daka imo.
