Nelson and Monga are our future, both with higher potentials than KDH and Barnes.

Don't think he would have kept us up but would have saved us £13mil on Okoli (and £7.5mil the year before on Coady if we trusted him then)

Had that Wolves manager not went on a Demonic run of 6 wins in a row, us having Ben Nelson instead of Coady/Faes could well have just inched it for us.

Maresca was doing a good job developing him, hopefully Cifuentes doesn't harm his development.

Bit of a reach there? Im happy with Nelson as he is, being a defender is primarily about defending which he is very good at despite being only 21, being good on the ball is only a bonus.

 

He haa shown that he has that 'on the ball ability' in his locker in the past so im surprised that he's not shown it yet this season, but I'll reiterate it's only a bonus to have on top of his very good performance today.

Absolutely delighted he’s finally made the breakthrough. 
 

it almost feels like he came and said “ use me or lose me”..

 

 

 I hope it means we have seen the last of Faes. Pearson would never have signed Faes.

I'd say that season scrapping away in the Championship was the making of him as a senior player, playing for us last season most people on here would be slating like they do others
