Worst part about this is only one of these injuries came on the pitch for a Leicester City first team league game.

1. Alves - assaulted in a youth team game.

2. Braybrooke - League cup game against Newport County.

3. Ricardo - League game against Villa.

4. Justin - FA Cup game against Brighton.

5. Fofana - Pre-season friendly.

6. Fatawu - International friendly for Ghana.

7. Souttar - Injured on loan against Burnley for Sheffield Utd.

8. Nelson - Pre-season friendly.

Also Tyler Morton on Ricardo (broken leg) in the League Cup.

Our luck with injuries, and in general, has been utterly catastrophic for at least 6-7 years now. Will it please just ****ing end.

Which made me wonder what other clubs have been like (who's the worst of all?), but apart from the EPL, finding that out seems to be hard...

Interesting that Russell talks about the need to get a left footed Central defender in, now Nelson is out - of course Ben is a right footed player. I would guess Nelson's injury is a red herring, the plan was always to get a left sided Centre Back in.

Nelson is happy to pass and clip the ball down the line with his left though, where as okoli definitely isn’t.

Ok hate to ask this, but it’s an indication of where the club is… do we get insurance of his wages?

He’s not very good at it though. He’s a fantastic carrier of the ball but is very weak with his passing.

Maybe it will do us a favour and now he might sign a new contact. Take a positive from a negative n all that.

I think so it’s a piss take if we help him through his recovery to say I want to leave plus hopefully we’ll be in the championship as well. Im not that bothered to be fair just don’t want us getting nothing for him

If we get promoted he’ll probably the end up signing a new contract. Don’t mind him but he’s injury prone and he’s steady nothing else.

I’d be very happy if we a bunch of steady players in, then we maybe think about slotting some flair players in. Or even just a big lad who gets on the end of most crosses in the box.

I think we need to permanently hire a buddhist monk to cast a blessing on every player's knee ligaments before training and matches at this point

Our only centre back who can pass the ball and he gets an ACL before the season starts.

This injury has probably f'd up our season.

Someone must have made a deal with the devil for the PL win.

Do you really think he’s a good passer of the ball? I can recall just as many times he’s put the ball out of play as Okoli has and he hasn’t yet shown an ability to either execute a long ball cross field or break lines like Vestegaard would. He is excellent at carrying the ball out of the defence and far better at that than any of our other centre backs but I’m not sure I could say the same about his passing.

At the very least he doesn't pass the ball straight to the opposition players which is better than the two the other night.

He was fairly poor at everything last year, to weak and can’t judge the flight of the ball.Passing was awful as well, but obviously better than Okoli
