Yep, or we could get another 9-0 Southampton player in Nathan Redmond

No point in us existing any more then with that kind of attitude.

Bench mark been set for Hutchinson. £45m and we might talk 🤷‍♂️Anything less we are fvcking stupid.

And boy are our lot fvcking stupid and desperate for cash so if it’s anywhere in the vicinity of a half decent offer they will accept.

At least he runs all game and trys his heart out for his hometown club which i can get behind a lot more than the likes of Faes, Winks or Soumare.

But yeah the sentiment stands, if Fatawu and BEK are both sold, the atmosphere v Brum will be toxic, especially when we go 3-0 down. I knew I shouldn't have renewed my season ticket.

I’m not sure I buy into the “runs his heart out”, there’s many times I’m frustrated by him for lack of work rate

Maybe we should just sell anyone half decent and just be shit. At least we know where we stand then.

That looks like the plan right now!

Okay what the fvck did Tyler Dibling too to get that £45m price tag? Leave it out 😂

You've just changed the goal posts completely, he hasn't done anything you're right on that.

Solid season? He did **** all for Ipswich

Did more that Fatawu....

It shouldn't matter but he is English, he has good stats in a very strong England u21 team and along with Delap were Ipswich's best players. Oh and he is always at club that isn't in such a financial state that can be compared to a third world country.

Isn't this exactly what we heard earlier and we’re led to believe we’ve confirmed we don’t want to sell and want more than that figure quoted.

I'm hoping it's lazy journalism that just ties in with his Insta post, and that Sunderland have cash to splash about, and they need better players (despite Saturday's result).

Really hope.

But I wouldn't put it past us to sell him and not get an adequate replacement...

BBC reporting it would suggest it's not lazy journalism, if Sunderland offer us 30m plus we will accept that no doubt about that.

That's the most likely scenario alongside the sale of BEK too and not getting an adequate replacement.

I’ll get pelters for this, and probably rightly so, but are we in a position to turn down £30m for a player that’s had 2/3s of a good season in the championship and then done his ACL?

I know we are ****ed, and he’s probably the only glimmer of hope we have for this season but that’s a serious offer.

If I trusted us not to replace him with Andros Townsend I’d be inclined to say that turning it down is an enormous risk.

£30m would likely get BEK but definitely not Fatawu. And while selling one of them is plausible, it’s highly unlikely we’d sell both in the same window unless insane money was offered that would enable us to completely overhaul the team. I can’t see Sunderland or anybody else offering that kind of money for Abdul.
