Vestergaard pissed this level before.  Not a massive issue.  Would have preferred Nelson but it's not worth shitting your guts up about.  Maybe Nelson isn't 100% fit.  Maybe Vestys dog bit him.  Who knows?

All I can hope for is slowly but surely the high earning leeches will be weeded out the club. I reckon Marti will have had a directive to ensure certain players are involved to ensure we maximise any transfer fee. I still think the likes of Soumare, Daka, Faes, Vestergaard, even winks get binned at the earliest opportunity but will be involved to maintain some bargaining power.

I was about to defend Soumare to @J.Lisemore But the point he raised about not tracking runners, is now valid as Vesty is playing. Because it now leaves us with a major weakness. Our attack should be good enough to win the game, but that defence is there for the taking with Vesty in it.

Marti seems reluctant to play both the younger centre-backs together, and I can understand that. He sees them in training every day and I'm sure over the season they'll be plenty of chances for Alves, Nelson, Evans, Monga etc to stake their claim.

I don't know why people lap it up, nothing against Ryy personally but he is frequently completely wrong.
