Did not expect that, but would not be against it. transfrmarket has the fee we bought for at £9m, been here 3 years so what just over £3m still book value.

We know he’s not good enough for the premier league so get him gone.

Midfield needed revamping last summer, we didn’t really see it. 
 

Skipp leaving this summer was doubtful, but getting at least two out the door of Ndidi, Soumare, Winks is ideal imo, all three of them would be sensational business.

There was simply never any chance of Skipp leaving, some people were just indulging in pure fantasy on that front.  We aren't selling at a loss and that's the only way Skipp moves currently.  

 

We just have to hope a redemption arc otherwise he will stink the place up until we sell him for 50p in the last year of his contract.

I’m beginning to think the owners might have finally come to terms with the PSR regulations. If they can get another  high earner off the books then that will be great.

 

still, they have a  a long way to go to re-earn the trust of the fans..

Winks was very good in our last Championship season. He's probably too good for the Championship but not good enough for the Premiership. Didn't seem like he wanted to be here towards the end of last season so him moving on makes sense. Be another big wage off the books and between £5-10m would be a decent return. Heading over to Italy or Spain where the game is slightly slower and less physical will suit him.

We have so little quality in the midfield, especially given BEK may very well leave, we absolutely cannot let Winks go unless we're buying.

All depends on whether funds will then be made available to sign 3 or 4 players. 

We desperately need a striker and will need at least one CM if Winks goes. 

Watching us now, I think it would be a big mistake to go as we are...
