It's a tussle, and can see why the ref doesn't give it. Quick look can think the defender gets the ball before flipping Fatawu to the ground

Yep, it's not an excuse cos we are shite but the officiating at this level is beyond embarrassing. Basic simple things they can't even get right.

It was 50/50 with the naked eye.

 

Thing that does my nut in is that we haven’t been given a single 50/50 decision this season. Having one or two 50/50 decisions going against you is completely normal. But it’s very strange we haven’t been given a single one. 

 

Not an excuse for the turgid performances and dire points tally though.

Looked on on the replay. 17 minutes on a car check Vs Liverpool and his bootlace may have been off.

 

It was a good run from him.

I mean Ricardo could easily have seen red against Birmingham.
 

Vestergaard could easily have given a penalty away against Hull. 
 

I’m sure there’s others I can’t remember. There’s nothing that’s been strange about it.

He looked off to me as well but I'm in the Kop so not the best angle.

Looked onside on the tv replay as the defenders leg was trailing but a decision that would have taken VAR 10 minutes to decide and still get it wrong.

The worst ref we’ve had and will have all season. Booked our players for fun, gave a horror free kick when Winks won the ball, let them kick the shit out of us with very little punishment. No yellow card when their lad pulls Abdul back, no free kick when their sub is fully grappling with Bobby and nearly pulls him off the pitch. Played more added time than he needed to. An absolute disgrace.

Ignoring that it probably wasn’t a pen and that Abdul should have been sent off…
