Cliff Ginetta used to drink in my old local.As an individual he always came across as a really decent typical working class bloke who did 12 hour shifts in the Walkers Crisp factory.He’s a quite man who never lauded it that he was chairman of the supporters club.He was well liked. 

I get it that the LCSC stance is causing great frustration.My memory is telling me that they even tut tutted when the anti Pleat/Shipman feeling was at it’s highest.


Maybe just let them be

We sat, or stood, through 9 (?) consecutive home matches last season without scoring a single goal. It's never been that bad before, ever. The attitude of nearly all of our players, young and old, was one of arrogance and sheer disdain for us as supporters. Most of us are still here but you can't blame the ones that aren't. Wish that I had the courage to give up my season ticket and now regret renewing. The players you want us to applaud mostly want to leave and, to be honest, we'd be glad to see the back of them. Did you notice the effort and determination put in by the Sheff Wed players last week despite not even being paid? Perhaps we might get behind ours like their fans did if we saw a fraction of that in our players.

 

Abdul refered to our motto, well let's hope that he's reminded his team mates about never quitting.

Tosh like this only makes a toxic and divided fanbase even more toxic and divided. 
 

Even this place has gone downhill since the good old days. Used to be banter and laughs, now it's moans and groans.

What a ridiculous statement. Give the supporters something to get behind. Seeing players do a job they are over paid for not perform or perform half-heartedly is heartbreaking and frustrating. Seeing players cup their ears to fans rather than encouraging them to make noise is not a way to endure yourself to fans. 

 

I fully back Marti, but not players that are not wanting to play for the club. Show effort, show passion and we'll back you. Show distain, we'll show our frustration. 

 

Pathetic statement written by someone who is not seeing the whole picture.

Wonder if we really are in the sh*tter in a few weeks even people with ST will just stop going. Perhaps a few

Find it amusing they just want to give a free pass to players just because they come over to the fans.

The fact that there isn't one mention of concern about how the club is being run which is certainly on the mind of most supporters is a clear sign that the club have had a say on this statement. 

 

The fans are to take accountability but say absolutely nothing about the fact that no one else at the club is doing the same?

The majority of the players who presided over one of the worst runs in form in the history of top flight English football have shown no appetite to fight for the club that pay them handsomely, they appear to not have any professional pride for themselves, their team mates or a manager who paid money out of his own pocket to be here. They show clear disdain to the fans who still travel the country to follow them.

 

Not to mention we as followers of this football club have had to endure one of the most mind boggling falls from grace in modern times due to pure incompetence and financial mismanagement of our beloved football club. We are treated as an after thought by the current custodians of this club. 

 

Yet somehow we are the problem? It’s time the club looked at itself properly, like they should have done with that “internal review” that went ****ing nowhere 2 years ago. Tbh apart from the new manager, his assistant, Andy King and handful of young academy lads, the rest can all go **** themselves.
