Leicester City winger Silko Thomas has been the subject of interest from a host of Championship and League One clubs.

The 21-year-old spent last season on loan at Wigan Athletic in League One, where he played 31 times in all competitions before having his season cut short by a knee injury.

 

But Thomas is yet to play for the Foxes this season, who are considering whether to let the former Chelsea youngster leave.

He could follow fellow attacker Bilal El Khannouss out of the club, with Crystal Palace in talks to sign the 21-year-old as a replacement for Ebere Eze should he finalise his move to Tottenham.

 

Only Asmir Begovic has arrived at Leicester this summer following their relegation back down to the Championship, with Mads Hermansen, Wilfred Ndidi and Conor Coady among those to have already departed.

And Thomas could also depart, either on loan or permanently, ahead of the end of the transfer window on September 1.

Not sure he'll ever make it with us so I imagine he'll leave permanently.

Did not really  impress in the  preseason friendlies  but he might make it elsewhere, if he goes good luck to him.

Did he not? In the time he played, he scored an absolute banger and was playing out of position really.

I thought he looked surprisingly good in the friendlies. It's his loans that have put him out of favour.

Yeah odd comment to say he didn't impress when in the limited minutes he actually got he scored a screamer. Couldn't have done much more haha.

Wouldn't say it was random either. He impressed a lot of Wigan fans before his injury.

Haven’t seen enough of him to have a strong opinion of him as a player but Silko Thomas is easily in the club’s top 5 greatest names of all time.

I once knew someone called Valotical Logan. Always thought he had the coolest name ever..

Can’t see him cutting the cloth whilst with us. He needs a permanent move away to get regular opportunity and see where his level is. 
 

If we get anywhere from £1m and above, sell and build the budget for Marti.
