PNM Posted 21 August 2025 Posted 21 August 2025 Spoke to my mate who’s a Wednesday fan after he went to their fan store. Trust me - we’re not at that level, and hopefully never will be. It was sad listening to it tbh.
CrazyKopCorner Posted 21 August 2025 Posted 21 August 2025 Another one who doesn't seem the same player since his injury 2 years ago. He's been really poor since he's come back so any offer around the £5m mark I'd snap their hands off
Vestan Pance Posted 21 August 2025 Posted 21 August 2025 I thought he started brilliantly for us under Maresca, but he's struggled since the injury. It will be a shame if he goes because by all accounts he's a great lad. 1
Popular Post Tielemans63 Posted 21 August 2025 Popular Post Posted 21 August 2025 Perhaps Rudders turned down the offer from Sunderland because he was holding out for a lower bid from elsewhere 11
Brainy Posted 21 August 2025 Posted 21 August 2025 Bash the top brass all you like but you can't criticise them not getting rid in January when he was 1) still getting minutes with us (regardless of how meh he is) and 2) not selling to a team who would only buy if they go up, which was not guaranteed at all. We moan about foreign clubs doing this to shite like Soumare etc 2
Bluearmyfox28 Posted 21 August 2025 Posted 21 August 2025 Love Kasey and I love the effort he puts in. But he’s not made for this system, he can’t beat a man one on one and doesn’t suit one touch football. If we can get anywhere from £7m+ then sell and buy a young cheap winger from Europe or get a loan signing as it’s a rotational role behind Abdul.
TheStig Posted 21 August 2025 Posted 21 August 2025 Strange that a lot of post say "hes a nice lad".... I was of the opinion that footballing skills were slightly more necessary than being nice. I´m nice (sometimes) so offer me a contract please 2 1
Filberts lovechild Posted 21 August 2025 Posted 21 August 2025 He adds great squad depth and it can’t be under appreciated. I fear losing him, BEK, Justin, Winks, possibly Fatawu, leaves us massively light for a Championship campaign. if we’re not compliant after this fire sale King Power are done for. All the signs say we’re here in the Championship to stay

I've also repeatedly said we need a better striker this season and I hope he leaves. You probably need to work a little harder on your gotchas. It wasn’t meant as a “gotcha” I was pointing out that both had a similar spell in the Championship: a decent run followed by a fade in form, each ending up with two assists across 6–7 starts. Yet you’ve consistently said Kasey is only League One level, while your main defence of Daka was his goals and assists that same season, overlooking the fact that his numbers also came in a short cluster. It seems fair to say you backed Daka strongly while he was here, and if your opinion has changed, that’s only after his run of poor performances last season. “But claiming Daka is a poor (or inconsistent or unreliable or any other synonym) finisher is statistically, factually, objectively false.” “Patson Daka, who is predictably taking pelters here, had a higher G+A/90 last season than Szmodics” “In fact, he had higher than everyone in the league other than Vardy. I'm just bored of the disrespect for Daka. Yes, he missed a couple of costly sitters this year, but he also ended up as the second most productive player in the league, weighted for minutes played, behind only the actual GOAT” “You watch an Erling Haaland highlight reel and it's ridiculous how many of them are just ugly tap ins or opportunist goals because - almost magically - the ball just seems to always land at his feet if its loose in the box. Once or twice is good fortune, consistently is just excellent instincts and positioning. Daka is like that. He scores a LOT of true poachers goals. His highlight reel for us looks like a lot of shithouse scruff if you take each goal individually out of context. When it's a pattern, though, its impressive” “Daka is comfortably our best striker it isn't even close anymore. He played well against Leeds, albeit he did butcher one hideous chance” “Patson Daka who, with 0.03 less than world class talent Jamie Vardy, had the second most G+A/90 of any player in the Championship with more than 1000 minutes with 0.99? FiRiNg BlAnKs” 1

Ric Flair Posted 21 August 2025 Posted 21 August 2025 You'd be pretty miffed if McAteer was your replacement for Hutchinson but maybe they're going to bring a couple of players in. They got £10m for Broadhead who plays wide left so i'd hope they've earmarked a similar fee to pay for Kasey. £10m profit is the equivalent of us selling Bilal for £25m 3

STUHILL Posted 21 August 2025 Posted 21 August 2025 I'd sell him, but has Rudkin and Top forgot that we actually need to sign players too? We are barely going to have a squad at this rate.
