Another one who doesn't seem the same player since his injury 2 years ago. 

 

He's been really poor since he's come back so any offer around the £5m mark I'd snap their hands off

I thought he started brilliantly for us under Maresca, but he's struggled since the injury. It will be a shame if he goes because by all accounts he's a great lad.

Bash the top brass all you like but you can't criticise them not getting rid in January when he was 1) still getting minutes with us (regardless of how meh he is) and 2) not selling to a team who would only buy if they go up, which was not guaranteed at all. We moan about foreign clubs doing this to shite like Soumare etc

Love Kasey and I love the effort he puts in. But he’s not made for this system, he can’t beat a man one on one and doesn’t suit one touch football. 
 

If we can get anywhere from £7m+ then sell and buy a young cheap winger from Europe or get a loan signing as it’s a rotational role behind Abdul.

He adds great squad depth and it can’t be under appreciated. I fear losing him, BEK, Justin, Winks, possibly Fatawu, leaves us massively light for a Championship campaign.

It wasn’t meant as a “gotcha”

I was pointing out that both had a similar spell in the Championship: a decent run followed by a fade in form, each ending up with two assists across 6–7 starts. Yet you’ve consistently said Kasey is only League One level, while your main defence of Daka was his goals and assists that same season, overlooking the fact that his numbers also came in a short cluster.

 

It seems fair to say you backed Daka strongly while he was here, and if your opinion has changed, that’s only after his run of poor performances last season.

You'd be pretty miffed if McAteer was your replacement for Hutchinson but maybe they're going to bring a couple of players in. They got £10m for Broadhead who plays wide left so i'd hope they've earmarked a similar fee to pay for Kasey. 

 

£10m profit is the equivalent of us selling Bilal for £25m
