Fox85 Posted 22 August 2025 Posted 22 August 2025 Need to sign Billing from Bournemouth for £10 million now and that Millwall striker for £3 million 2

McKenna is a head coach, not a director of football. 2. Whilst we make some honking transfer decisions and I'm not defending them, it is a little bit nuts to pretend we're the only club out there that do and the only club that makes mistakes or scouts using poor information and based on perceptions and reputations as much as data.

studentofthegame Posted 22 August 2025 Posted 22 August 2025 How on earth have we pulled that off Rudkin masterclass (but not ironic this time)

So the options we have are keep playing them, or make funds available from elsewhere and bring replacements in and stop playing them. I know what I'd rather do! Thing is the club has an attitude problem and when there are senior players knocking around the club with the attitude these lot do, Its going to be very very hard to get things to improve, the rot will just fester and spread to any new players, it needs rooting out. We need to build a new culture and when there are players who exist at Seagrave who think they are too good for the fans/club things arent going to improve. Hence why you see players like Abdul buying into this woe is me attitude, the fans are treating us so bad blah blah, its obviously a view held in the dressing room. When actually strong players would look inside and say actually we have been a bit shit for the past 3+ years, maybe the fans have a point, especially they players who have been ever present during that period! JimJams Posted 22 August 2025 Posted 22 August 2025 Hope McKenna gets more out of him than we've been able to. The lad works hard and it'd be nice if he went up a few levels and he needs to do that somewhere else cos he isn't getting in ahead of Fatawu. 4 Yr contract. So he can come back... 2

How do you suggest we shift players that are attracting no interest from other clubs? 1
Guest Bilo Posted 22 August 2025 Posted 22 August 2025 Surprised that this has come off. Absolutely a bonus sale with that fee and in the only position where we are actually quite stacked.

Number 6 Posted 22 August 2025 Posted 22 August 2025 Hey Ipswich, I reckon a certain Mr Skipp could fill that Morsey-shaped hole in midfield too. Go on.... 1
Grebfromgrebland Posted 22 August 2025 Posted 22 August 2025 This is a distraction. What about incomings??

Pay them off if needs be (I think many are in their final year). I think having them around the club and in the case of Soumare, who for some reason keeps getting selected is more negative. Im just sick of seeing the same whiny faces the same pathetic excuses and shoulder shrugs. If nothing else they need to not be training with the first team squad until their attitude improves.
DerbyshireFox Posted 22 August 2025 Posted 22 August 2025 Incredible money for a player who had a month long purple patch two years ago. Can’t turn it down. Has Rudkin got a job at Ipswich!! Up to £14m 😂😂😂. We seriously need to start supporting Marti after this, otherwise the hierarchy have even more to answer to than they already do
lgfualol Posted 22 August 2025 Posted 22 August 2025 Great deal, first career hattrick nailed on against us
