Usually clubs agree personal terms with players via the agent before negotiating with club to make sure they can actually get the player to sign.
 

Personal terms are rarely drawn out in comparison to club to club negations over transfer fees.

This reminds of a road trip from Memphis to Nashville to Altlanta, and enroute we had to take the side roads.  We saw this rundown shack that was a titty bar, and for curiously we decided to go in, the place was ropy as he'll, and the women were just as bad. 

 

The host walks upto us and says 'here's Marlene, she is our best dancer....'  All I can say is the bar was low, she basically looked like Tommy G in drag.  

 

There best dancer parallels our best defender......rancid.
